What do you think will be the highest value this year? Below or above $1000?

What makes you think it is coming back to life?  The slight rise today or something completely different?

This slight rise is just the sign of a new price cycle and obviously it's not bearish..

I wish I could be as optimistic as you are.

I guess in the last 4 months or so(since I started Bitcoin) I have seen tons of slight rises, the price 4 months ago was a lot better than it is now.  I am just curious as all

Good to hear that, people must buy at this low price, and then we can count some profits.
I'm sure that btc price will rise again sometime.

Its all pipe dreams. People want massive returns but this is very unlikely

It is really unrealistic to think  that Bitcoin will go back to 1k+, i don't see any reason why

It's realistic. People from 2011 couldn't imagine the pike on the BTCUSD graph, which actually took place later in 2013-2014. And the 1k+ per BTC is what nobody can imagine now, though the price of $500-$600-$700 or more is quite possible this year. Quite possible.

...

Hope so re the big wave.

I bought some at +/- $600.

Some at +/- $500

Some at +/- $400

Some at +/- $350

And just the other day, $270.

I guess we will just have to wait and see.  I have NO IDEA what near-term future prices will be like.

I value BTC because it is portable and apparently very resilient if you are careful.  Volatile, yes.  But I can live with that.  No choice!
