There is a lot of Escrows on this site, sadly they arent available all the time.
I wont be either, but I want to offer an escrow service too with no fee for normal private sales.

No deals over 0.30 BTC. Thats all I have for compensation if something goes wrong.

Prices.

Normal Private sales: 0, nothing.
Group Buys: 1%
IPOs: 1%

I will deal with anyone who approaches me.
If any disputes should happen between the buyer and seller.
The money will stay in my wallet till I have spoken to other Escrows and figured out what to do, or if the dispute is no longer between the two parts.

I have been here on the forum for a long time, and I have made plenty of transactions with people here.
They have told me that they have added +Trust to my account, I cant see any other than the one I have at the moment..

Trust is supposed to be earned , thats how most of the escrows got there.  But usually escrows have history of large fund deals before, they start escrowing funds

You've got 1 trusted feedback from redsnow's escrow and two other untrusted feedbacks. It's common sense that an escrow should be a reputable and well trusted member and being here a long time isn't really relevant without trades or reputation. People buy Senior accounts all the time and if you've been around a long time you should know the general requirements to become an escrow. Lots of previous trades and evidence of such is the bare minimum otherwise why trust you?.

You might consider yourself 'established' like I do despite only being a few months older than you but frankly no one will trust a guy to be the ESCROW with such low ratings (either me or you).

This place is full of trolls, the first time I tried to do a business here while being new I got listed as a potential scammer by Mr Tomato (later he revoked the status) and then this other weird guy who Neg'd on my trust score just cuz HE THOUGHT I was a scammer.

It was a hard battle to gain back some rep and I did. So just a suggestion : Dont even post something, even if it makes sense, unless you can back it up with proof that would be widely acceptable by this community. Cuz even if IS a good idea, people will ruin your profile JUST cuz they can.

Well said I was expecting that some one will give him a negative trust, because he is not a established member having no trade history and going to start a escrow service.

People can neg rep me.. But I will report them and keep on following them and make sure that it will be removed again.
There is no reason for it since I havent been involved with any scams or shady activity.

Now, lets get away from this kind of talk.

People can write if they need a free escrow im available from now and just about 24/7 this weekend.

Escrow needs to be trusted and green positive trust is a minimum entry requirement. You can offer your service, but I don't think anyone will be interested.

A bit of an overestimation for yourself here. 2 documented transaction is not considered plenty, and one of which was through escrow so there was no chance to scam on that one.

You have good intentions, but just because you're willing doesn't mean you're qualified. And the fact that you said you'll run to other escrows to ask what to do when there's a dispute, means you shouldn't be one in the first place.

You should not be offering to escrow a transaction that you are not able to cover if something goes wrong. Do you have any proof of funds to reimburse your customers in case there is a mistake on your end?

This is bad logic. That's like saying give a brand new account a shot at trading paypal funds for BTC, or taking a large no-collateral loan. Sure you can take the huge risk, but generally it should be flagged before it happens. Same thing applies here; his account is older, but his reputation is new.

Now don't get me wrong here, I'm not saying he's a scammer, just that there's a higher possibility of him running off. If everyone had the the same attitude of "give the guy a chance", there would have been many more successful scammers.

Offering escrow with no good reason to usually seems pretty shady. Don't take it personally as all new escrows are scrutinised here and so they should be. You're offering to hold on to others money for free and this can easily be taken advantage of. People use escrows because they're trusted to be able to hold funds. Currently you are not so it defeats the purpose and makes others skeptical of you regardless of your intentions.

Exactly. This is a valid question everyone should ask. I don't think we need more random escrows but more very trusted ones never hurt. Though I'm sure many people who offer escrow services like this have nothing but good intentions there's also likely a bigger percent who do it with the intent to scam at some point because what better way to get ahold of large amounts of other people's money relatively easy?

You really don't get much in tips for this type of service and if you're doing it for that you're getting into the wrong business and for the wrong reasons.

Right? I was asked to escrow a few times, declined it because it takes too much communication, patience, and formality. Although I wouldn't mind doing it for some people. Just not newbs, because they tend to be flakes, which I've experienced many times.

This isn't relevant. Escrow is done from trust, not how much you have in your wallet to cover as insurance. If you did your job correctly, then you shouldn't be liable.

This isn't relevant. Escrow is done from trust, not how much you have in your wallet to cover as insurance. If you did your job correctly, then you shouldn't be liable.

Inexperienced escrows are also more likely to fuck up but if they do they will likely be liable for returning the funds. You may have 0.3 in your wallet but is that an amount you would be ok with losing if something goes wrong? These are all things you should be taking into consideration.

I agree, escrowing isn't as easy as it seems. You need to be professional and focussed, and know a lot of rules.
