Offer withdrawn - I've discovered BFL will be using external wall warts after all on the new SC units:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=104890.msg1177980#msg1177980

I have three cables for use with BFL Single FPGA miners so you can power them from a PC power supply. They are made to be used with the blue PCIE connectors on a Corsair HX1000W but you can adapt them to your power supply. The connectors are spaced so the BFL's get proper airflow. Two of the assemblies have can power four BFL's each. One assembly can power three BFL's. In total, you can power 11 BFL's.

Make sure you test the polarity of the cables BEFORE using them on your equipment. The center should be positive.

They are very well made by a fellow here on the forums, but I canceled my big order and only used them on one Single. I am asking 6 BTC total for all three. Price includes shipping. Power supply not included. Selling to continental USA members only. PM me if you are interested.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

You said to ensure you check polarity.  can you verify these are correct for BFL singles?

The cable end is correct for BFLs. However, some power supplies are wired differently. That's why I recommend you check first. Voltmeters are cheap, the BFL's are not.

So these haven't actually been used with a BFL Single?

I'm interested, but I would be much more interested @ 2BTC for 1 cable.

Yes,  I used them with one Single. I paid 4 BTC each just a few weeks ago. But I am offering all three for 10 BTC.

Which DC connector does the BFL single use ?

I tried this one, but IMHO the center pin is different: DC power jack with 2.1mm center pin (+) diameter and 5.5mm barrel (-) diameter
If someone could clarify, pretty much appreciated

thx

Hi nusizu,

The BFL single uses a 2.5x5.5mm coaxial power plug. The 2.1x5.5mm has a too small center hole and will not fit on the unit. The x6500 FGPA device does contain the 2.1x5.5mm just for reference.

Also a free bump for some damn fine cables!  Wink

Tired of substandard power distribution in your ASIC setup???   Chris' Custom Cablez will get you sorted out right!  No job too hard so PM me for a quote
