Hi Fellow Bitcoiners,

This thread was created because I came to realize there was quite alot to offer, one even more beautifull then the other. Because there isn't a thread dedicated to Physical CryptoCurrencies, I decided to create one Smiley. There must be others like me, not being able to find every physical coin available. I see this as a service to both buyers and sellers of physical coins, to let every interested Cryptofan find all supplier at once. If you wish more background details about physical coins --> http://www.coinfirm.org

Casascius ofcourse was the first, most well-known and valuable physical Bitcoin to date. Eventhough it's not likely any coin will ever become that valuable, there are a lot of coins today that are, in my opinion, much more refined and well-designed then Casascius, real pieces of art, yet a fraction of the costs!

This is the first rough list that I have collected to date. Sadly I don't have much knowledge on how to make it look nice on BTCtalk, nor to learn it Smiley. So if you feel the need to make it look nice, please send me the text with code Smiley It's also good for the community, and offcourse I will give you the credits Wink. If you miss a supplier, please let me know. Over the weeks I will add more details about each supplier, so it's easier to see on this thread what is actually available. I will add reviews myself, next week it will be the turn of the Kialara's, 2014 and 2015 edition, sadly not the gold one Smiley

To any supplier, if you're not on the list, please let me know and think about SEO Wink if you want your coin reviewed, make me an offer Smiley Have made some losses due to cloud mining, so BTC is scarce Wink

REVIEWS

BH Coins 4th Edition

After ordering totally on trust through the bitcointalk tread, which can be found in the list, I recieved the coins after 1,5 weeks. The coins are not expensive, around BTC0.05, yet they are very nice and have different finishes, mirror golden, antique golden, mirror silver and antique silver. In order to review them properly, I've ordered 1 of each, so 4 in total. All the coins come in airtight and exact size capsules. Also, everything was packaged very protectively. The package didn't look nice, but it got the job more than done. Also the hologram stickers and the certification of the coins are provided within a nice BH coins style enveloppe. These enveloppes can't be opened unseen, so no reselling wityhout the buyer knowing it has been opened before. These coins are normally DIY, but it was also possible to get the first few coins finished, so I did Smiley The address is provided within the airtight capsule, but you can also generate a new address if you don't have enough trust towards BHcoins, because they provide 3 additional hologram stickers for you to play handy man.

How it´s delivered

Front

Back

Again, alot of bang for your buck. It's not precious metal, but the designs are very nice, and the price is right! Shipping is handled with care, and if not, you can see in the thread that if there are complaints, they will be handled properly. Would recommend to the not so rich bitcoin physical coin enthusiast or collector.

Crypto Imperator

After ordering 2 assembled 10.000 Bits coins, one limited and one normal through the Official Bitcointalk Thread, my order came in about one week later. Total cost including two airtight capsules and shipping to the Netherlands was BTC0.20987197. The coins came protected in 2 plastic containers, in which they couldn't move or scratch. I ordered preassembled, because I'm not that handy, but you can buy them also DIY. The capsules also fit perfectly, and are really airtight and serve as a nice showcase to me. The addresses are provided with the coins, but you can also see a small portion off the address on the coin. I like the added security that the coins only get loaded, once you recieve them.

How it´s delivered

Back

Hologram back with flash

Just like Criptoe's Guldencoin, very much bang for your buck. It isn't precious metal, but the design and coin itself is beautifull! Would recommend!

Silverwallets.com

After ordering 2 silverwallets through Blazedout419, I recieved the coins a week later. Very fast considering it's from the USA to the Netherlands. Eventhough I could order through the website, Blazedout419 didn't have a problem that I wanted to use the escrow service of PsychoticBoy. I was amazed by the beauty and refinednes. The coins are extremely well protected. They are packaged very tight into plastic containers, created just for those coins it seems, because it fits so perfectly, that the coins can't move and therefore can't get scratched. Also a handy how to guide regarding loading the coin and nice showcases are provided.

Some photo's to show off my Silverwallets.com coins Grin

Great supplier, would recommend!

Physical Criptoe Guldencoin (NL-G)

I ordered my coins through the website physical.criptoe.com and after 2 weeks it fell on my doormat. The person on BTCtalk to talk to about questions is ny2cafuse. Because I really liked the design I ordered another one. Criptoe wishes to reduce the costs of shipping, so he sends combined orders to LTEX, so he can distribute it in the Netherlands. Eventhough this causes some delay, it's also significantly cheaper for the buyer.
The shipment comes well protected, no damage to either coins. The material is a nickel-alloy, with a nickelplated finish. The design is remarkable, very thick, big, heavy and shiny Smiley The edges of the coin are astonishing. It´s losely designed after the old ƒ2,50 dutch coin, yet much bigger and more modern. It has an blue finish and guldencoin writin out on the side.

It's designed for 5000 NL-G and through the Criptoe Thread you can find instructions on how to load it properly. 2 Criptoe Hologram stickers are provided with each coin. All in all very content with these purchases, every NL-G supporter should have one, too bad there are only 250 Grin

How it's delivered

Frontside

Backside

Really beautifull coin, truly a must-have for every Guldencoin supporter or holder.

Next review --> Kialara, BH Coins 4th edition or Casascius 2013 coins, whichever arrives first Smiley

I forget the name of the company, but there was Swiss "bank" notes made with bitcoin done recently and I believe they were very popular. Sort of fits in this whole physical bitcoin niche.

Yeah I saw something about that, but couldn't find it anymore, plus the prices I thought were outragious, but I'm not sure Smiley I fyou can provide a link, I will add it Smiley

Going to be hard for people to follow this thread when you delete their posts, not really sure why you did that, no one cares about the thread being one page.

You can add it to the watchlist, right? You say no-one cares, how do you know Wink. Will update regurlarly, so you will see it in the unread posts Smiley I also deleted my posts, don't worry Wink

Hi Furio,
Just a couple of edits for your OP.

Doge is the only Finite product that does not have a specified value on the coin (they are DIY). They also are the only ones that come in copper or nickel (rest of the lines are sliver).

Peercoin value = 10 PPC
Primecoin value = 11 XPM
Cryptogenic Bullion = 10 CGB

Costs range from $15 to $100 each (Peercoin w/ gold trim costs $100).

All are customer funded.

Thanks for compiling all of this in one place!

When it comes to Nicolas's collection, impressive, yes.
But not unachievable. Especially now when the market for Physical Crypto Coins are very low.

I agree that the Casascius 1 Oz .999 Au is not achievable... Unless you are rich.
But I don't find it sad - It is the holy grail of Physical Crypto Coin, it would not be special if anybody could have it.

Cryptography is one of the few things you can truly trust.

The end user assembles.  We designed it to be crypto agnostic so you could use it with any crypto coins.  Each coin comes with 1 tamper evident label, and you can order extras if you want.

Was trying to build op some sort of collection, but got pretty stuck now.
Got a Kialara 2014, Crypto-imperator 2014, Unobtanium silver bar, Goxxed coin and a 2012 Brass keychain.

Now everything is either too expensive for me (in better words: too much for something I don't need) or shipping is mad expensive...

Send me a PM if it has any interest.

Furio,

In your list, can you please note whether the coins are pre-funded, buyer-funded, DIY, or are not wallets. It would be helpful to know these things at a glance. Personally, I'm not interested in DIY coins because they have no resale value once assembled, or non-wallets because they are not really physical bitcoins.

Also, here is another for your list: PaperSafe, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1049428.0 It's a buyer-funded paper wallet with a great design and lots of interesting features.

I have a simple question, and its an honest one.

What's the point of physical coins?  Just something pretty to collect?

Fellow coinist Smiley

Recieved a few coins today for a nice price. Just wondering if anyone would be interested in these. The titan and lealana are unfunded, the MJB's can't be funded and are 999 copper, the titan and lealano are 999 fine silver.

Lealana 2013 and Titan 2014 back

MJB 2013 copper silver gold, Lealana 2013 and Titan 2014 front

Anyone interested in them, if so what's your offer Smiley

Also if you have some info on their value, let me know Smiley

The Titan and the Lealana are fakes, you know that right? A real Titan one looks like this (checkout the back) and a Lealana looks like this (check the back again). Anyway, I wouldn't mind having that Lealana and the MJB ones look like the real deal (can't be sure though).

Underneath the Titan should be a "hole" to store your private key in, which this doesn't have. Checkout the other Titan versions as well, none of them look like the one you (and I) have.

So this engraved qr code on the titan was never issued by titan, which seems like alot of work for a repro fake product Huh

Also the MJB 2013's were so low priced, how could anyone want to make fakes!?

Why bother? This thread isn't/hasn't been updated and the guy is asking manufacturers to pay him to write a review for their coins.

You are very misinformed my friend, I never ask to get paid!? Where the hell did you get that, I did ask for nice deals for new coins, that's about it, too which no-one reacted I might add Smiley

Assumptions, assumprions, assumptions, sad sad...

I do admit I didnt have the time these last months, but I was the first to start this kind of thread and many people were gratefull for it. You still have all the suppliers in one thread, so don´t really get your unjust and (seemingly) biased expressions, which are also lies....

You are a hero member with that kind of trust, why willingly spread misinformation about me?

Who are you again? You state very clearly in your OP that you are willing to review coins for btc:

To any supplier, if you're not on the list, please let me know and think about SEO Wink if you want your coin reviewed, make me an offer Smiley Have made some losses due to cloud mining, so BTC is scarce Wink

Ok, so what does this proof, I'm not asking to get paid, I dont have enough coin for all coins, so make me an offer. I did this in this thread out in the open, wtf are you talking about dude!?

But I know what it is. YOU came out of the blue to offer me a deal on your ravenbit coins, we were allmost in the final stages when I lost 5 btc. I cancelled the order and you even messaged me sorry for your loss!? Guess you held a grudge against me for cancelling the order. You run a business, how sad are you to use this against me?

I will post our messages later, so everybody can see what a sad person you are....

I honestly don't remember ever communicating with you nor do I remember a deal that fell through, but go ahead post the messages. And then yes, everyone will see what a sad person I am, despite.. you know.. never having a negative interaction with anyone on this forum. I understand you being called out on your personal failings is a bit jarring, but if you simply explained that you wanted manufacturers to send you a free coin, I would've excused your inability to communicate that point in your OP.

You are only proving your lies further. You posted that I asked for offers, OFFERS! Which means I PAY for the coins, so what free coins!?

Never having a negative interaction!? You are lying and proving your own lies with my quotes right now, quite negative I think?

"but if you simply explained that you wanted manufacturers to send you a free coin, I would've excused your inability to communicate that point in your OP"?? I never asked for free coins, I simply stated that I dont have enough coins to buy all, to which you've reacted and made me an offer, only to twist my words now to free coin... An offer means I PAY money, so again what free coin? You're inability to read and UNDERSTAND isnt my inability to communicate... Please note that every coin I reviewed I bought myself with no special offer..... Except on the silverwallets, I got a small discount on those Smiley

You sir, are a low excuse of a human being, posting lies and negativity with no basis, other than me having stepped on your toes by calling of the deal. Now stating that you dont remember, you've contacted me yourself, complementing me on my thread, wanting to make me an offer.... Are you mad that I didnt give you special attention....

Really dont understand your strange attacks, the same text which made you make me an offer as Ravenbit, now offends you and gives you reason to falsely accuse me of getting paid for reviews, while you clearly show that this isnt the case with the quote you posted...

I asked for offers, that isnt getting paid for reviews, you talk about communication, I think you have quite a bit to learn....

lol - it's like talking to the wall. I responded with a throwaway tame line that you've now blown way out of proportion. Who exactly do you think you are? I'm a low excuse for a human being? The fuck gives you the right to say this? Stop foaming from the mouth and go back and re-read what I've wrote and find what warrants that.

My first point that this thread isn't/hasn't been updated stands true - the thread is nearly useless. Perhaps, it had some initial potential, but you've haven't really updated it.

I understand that English isn't your first language, so if I misinterpreted the line your OP I apologize - it is poorly worded. I never said we didn't communicate over PM, I'm saying I don't ever recall communicating with you (I periodically delete my PMs and I receive a lot of PMs). You don't ring a bell, so I don't have a grudge despite what you wildly imagine; you are not special.

I'd appreciate it if you removed Ravenbit from your list. I don't want to have any association with you.

Have the same feeling that I'm talking to a wall. In your pm to me you say "I possibly misinterpreted the line in your OP", and now you state for everybody it is poorly worded. That makes you a poor excuse of a human being, stating something else to me private than in public....

To state in a thread that reviews physical coins that the author gets paid for his reviews, while this simply isnt true isnt a small throwaway tame line, it's willfully tarnasing my word and reviews, based on lies. Still you haven't answered why you feld the need to do this, what is your beef with me other than a cancelled order.

I only agree that it hasnt been updated a few months, still alot of people recently stated to me that they are gratefull for this thread, becasue it still provides ALL suppliers, eventhough the recent products havent been updated. This is far from useless, you still can click to any supplier available through my link, so again, BS.....

You dont have the right to ask me that, this is a public forum and I provide a list with all suplliers, including Ravenbit with a very sad guy as owner for anyone to see in my thread...

Think about what you post next time, especially if they're lies....

Again sorry for falling behind. I make 1 hard promise, the 2 reviews of BHcoins 4th edition and my 2 kialara's will be added this month! I will also try to update ALL suppliers with current products, pricing and specifics.

I removed the pre-order statement from my list Henry, and will update it completely asap. I like the Nicolas Tesla coin allready, will order that for sure! As a fact, I want albert Einstein, Davinci and tesla once it's available in 1 purchase Smiley All 3 intrigue me Smiley

I also added TGBEX to the list, very nice and funded coins.

Thanks for the patience Smiley

Many thanks for adding TGBEX to the list.

Prices are in £ or € depending on which country you access the website from and we accept bitcoin via coinbase as well.

Payment can be made via paypal, bank transfer or coinbase, but please note we only retail TGBEX physcial bitcoins in the EU (currently looking at requirements for other countries, but the USA is unviable, given excessive licensing requirements!).

TGBEX company mission is to spread bitcoin awareness and ownership to anyone/ sell bitcoin as an asset which we believe it was meant to be (given the finite nature/ 21million cap), so we do not sell unloaded coins.

Public and private keys are engraved onto the reverse of coins (with the public key visible/ private key hidden under a security hologram) and coins come boxed, with a booklet explaining the coins and a certificate signed by two people to confirm all other records of the private key have been destroyed.

TGBEX Limited is incorporated in the Isle of Man and is subject to local regulations and registered for VAT (sales tax).

The 0.5BTC - 5BTC coins are made from a brass alloy with a range of finishes (0.5 antiqued bronze, 1 silver, 2 gold and 5 antiqued gold).

The 10BTC/ 20BTC coins are solid silver (.999) and are hallmarked by the assay office in Birmingham UK - although 'out of stock' on website, they are available on request (we also have a few 50BTC silver coins and a demo 24ct gold 100BTC coin) - these come in a larger 'deluxe' wooden box (handmade in the UK).

Please note we are also required to collect AML/ KYC/ ID verification for any orders over €1,000 currently (hoping the Manx Digital Currency Association will lobby for less regulation rather than more at some point and get this limit increased in line with other EU requirements/ guidlines, but have withdrawn our support from the MDCA until this happens).

sorry current pricing can be found here:

http://www.tgbex.com/pricing/

Prices are updated if the bitcoin price moves significantly and generally fixed in GBP (which is converted to EUR/ BTC)

We did have live pricing briefly, but had big issues with the price feeds (will revisit this at some point as think the feeds are now more reliable, but when one feed even briefly sends through a 0 price then it can go horribly wrong!)

After much delay, I've finally added a review of the BH coins 4th edition 2015. Kialara's silver 2014 and 2015 editions will be next! In the coming week I will slowly, but steadily add updates to my list of suppliers, in order to get them up to date with actual offers. Thanks for bearing with me Wink
