The prices for Roland Palotai  lightsabers are 500 to 1700 USD.
Did you heard the sounds, and the motion effects?
Feel it in your hand?
Man,its like you have a real item in your hand.
Thats why the price is hot.
And its unique.
Feel free to contact him.

Is this licenced by Lucasarts? Seems a little expensive for a piece of metal unless it is from the set of the actual Star Wars films.

I collect star wars replicas.  Master Replicas used to make licensed lightsabers, now efx collectibles makes them.

Original set props will cost crazy money.  Depending on the piece, could range from $1000 - $100000

Very unlikely these are licensed, but that doesn't make them any better or worse

I don't want to sound mean. But you are basically paying for fancy flashlight with a speaker. While it may look good I do not think that piece is worth anything near price range you mentioned.

It is a collectable. Like any collectable if you aren't that big of a fan of the series, of course its not worth it to YOU. that doesn't mean it isn't worth what he is asking. IMO you need a hobby other than posting in marketplace ads you have no intention of trading in.
