I guess the Winklevoss ETF will be just approved today, still not a very big news...
I reckon winklevoss ETF falls into category of big enough news and would move the price up. Agree on other points. |

If someone would really have inside knowledge on big news coming, they would trade on that and make profit, instead of trying to convince the world of something. Well they already bought into bitcoins, but for doing profit they need other people also buy bitcoins so the price increase. And for now they are trying to push the price and to push the attention on incoming news. |

If you read my posts I'm a Bitcoin bear, I put zero weight in whatever this Adam guy had to say. Charles on the other hand, I've seen around the BitShares forums, he's very intelligent & has always appeared to be of good character. He's more technology than market minded but I expect he can discern if something is actually Big news. So if he says market moving news is on the way I'm taking it a lot more seriously. |

What Guerbuez might be doing is trying to cause another crash. We know he's a fan of the principle 'any publicity is good publicity' (as in getting free publicity for the wrong reasons)..... http://vimeo.com/86716372 (Go to 8:20) We also know he's a fan of cheap bitcoin and being seen to be leading the agenda....  Put those together and what do you get ?......infamy by hyping something that's a complete anti-climax or non event combined with a another major crash that he can claim responsibility for (and in so doing, demonstrate that he can 'control' events).
