There is not best, its all opinions. Just go to bitcoin.org and check out the wallets they recommend. Then use those and do some investigating to see if people have had problems with them.

+1 for exodus.  It is elegant and simple.  Easy to use.  Offline there is of course a ledger nano.

For my own security reason I would use multiple wallet like as poloniex and bittrex for cryptocurrency. But my first and foremost choice is "MyEtherwallet" because their main focus is on speed and simplicity, with low resource usage.

May be i'm strange guy, but i'm using bitcoin wallet in 999dice casino, so no incoming fees and withdraw fee only 0.00025000 satoshi (fixed), it risky, but that dice works since 2013 year. I'm not advertising this site but it's pretty good for me.

You can't store BTC on myetherwallet, is just for the ERC tokens. Poloniex and Bittrex are exchanges too, if they turned scam or hacked at some point where your btc are still there, you'd feel sorry for not sending it to your desktop wallet. Electrum is my recommendation for this.

I just starting with cryptocurrency. Seems that most people recommend blockchain.info, but it can be used only for BTC ?
Do you guys use one wallet for everything ? How about new altcoins that you get from bounty, where to keep them ? Is there one wallet for all currencies ?

I think hardware wallet is more safe, dependent and reliable than any other wallets.
But best thing to do when you need a wallets to save your bitcoin, you make a good research about it online

Hello,
I am looking for a good online Bitcoin wallet.
I want a wallet that respect my privacy (no log, no asking for ID card, no asking for my first name, etc...).
Low fee.
Do you have any idea ?
I suggest use https://blockchain.info/wallet. Because it's only the best wallet you're looking for and it's also safe to use.

coinbase.com is the best online bitcoin wallet where not needed to verify your identity and no needed to upload your id card and many more, so used it and so simple to make transaction to the other coinbase wallet no needed fee, just sent by using email coinbase account.

true but you only get 50 dollars a week and you have to verify bank account. If you want more you have to upload id, which is a pain.

I have been trying for awhile. I tried cellphone, laptop and about to try tablet.

Also you have so many tries to get it right or otherwise you have to wait 24 hours

also I deposited 50 dollars a few days ago, it says i have to wait 9 days.

looking into atms at the moment, it would be friday.

Anybody have experience with atms
Buenas noches.. mi pregunta es la siguiente realizan algún cobro de COINBASE A ELECTRIC. . es porque los pagos de las monedas me los van A hacer es allí en COINBASE.. o puede manejarse las transferencias fácilmente. .
Just don't store it on an exchange.
Don't want to get goxxed now do you.

It depends.
If you use them as a store of value, you shouldn't keep them on an exchange.
On the other side, bitstamp customers were not really goxxed in the end, so the market is getting better.

If you want to use them for sporadic transactions or store of value blockchain.info is a pretty good choice since there are good security measures taken. (if we forget about the breach a few weeks ago)

I haven't been keeping with the bitstamp coins.

Was it recovered?

As far as I know no customer was harmed in the attack. No customer lost coins.
I'm not sure if the hack was legit. Could have been some manipulating as well, don't know.

Yes No one is harmed, No one lost any thing.
But How is that possible the BTC that was lost it wasm from HOT WALLET, ?

Hello,
I am looking for a good online Bitcoin wallet.
I want a wallet that respect my privacy (no log, no asking for ID card, no asking for my first name, etc...).
Low fee.

I think coinbase and btc-e will be the best option for you, they are easy to use and no extra information is required during registration.

Thanks

Blockchain - the most famous and time-tested online bitcoin wallet. Millions of users have loved it for its reliability, functionality and friendly attitude towards beginners in the world of crypto currency.
Blockchain has many strengths:
quick and easy registration of the wallet;
the presence of HD addresses, which provides almost complete confidentiality.
