I'm having real problems with Ziftr. After buying some coins in the presale I wired money for payment, and it was never credited to my account. I had to e-mail three times to get a response, basically amounting to "we've had a lot of purchases, we're busy." Okay, but now it's over a week since I've wired the money, and since then their entire website has changed and there's no longer even a place to display a balance anymore to confirm whether or not you have one. I've e-mailed them about this but again am not getting a response.
I don't know if they're a scam, it's possible there are legit explanations for all this, but I'm getting skeptical.

tl;dr Ziftr will not credit my account with payment, and can't really give a satisfactory explanation as to why.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Update: they responded, my account's been credited and everything's good Smiley

Good to hear, although I got my coins ok, your message made me nervous at first.

Yes. I bought it. It looks 100x better than any other ICO out there and there is real company behind it. So..

only time will tell the rest.

I thought so too. Have you seen this? Looks like it was fun.

My friend was there and said it was really good.

Does that mean you think dump will follow?

They claim they're here to stay - and will be freezing part of the coins:
"25% won’t be available to use until one year has passed"
And the network will be secured using Proof of Work.

Looks like they're going to have special pools for people to mine it. But not yet.

They say there'll be no asics, just cpu mining.

ZifterCOIN, Presale Concludes, Is It A Opportunity Or Risk?

http://www.btcfeed.net/news/ziftercoin-presale-concludes-opportunity-risk/

The article is pretty interesting. What troubles me is I find it hard to treat a text seriously if there are exclamation marks in every other sentence.

Though I like the part about the risks.
