Overview of Popular Bitcoin Gambling Websites

Gambling websites are rated on 4 different aspects: Trustworthiness (a mixture of combinations - Bitcointalk trust, number of complaints, etc.), Reliability (are there withdrawal issues, uptime issues, etc.), Promotions (casino bonuses, holiday events, etc.) and Features (how unique the site is). These ratings are combined to give an Overall rating, which the Gambling Websites in this list are ordered by. Additionally, the time the website has been online for and the amount of pages the website's Bitcointalk thread has is listed.

A high rating for a website does not equate to my personal endorsement (you should still use your own judgement), and I also do not accept bribes in order to boost a website's rating. Bias is avoided. Ratings are from A+ to D- - if a gambling website scores an Overall rating of D-, all of its ratings will be changed to F until the problems are rectified. You may observe that the vast majority of the websites on this thread have decent ratings. That would be because I'm avoiding the riff raff of gambling sites.

Note that this is a new thread, and I have likely missed a few Gambling Websites. Please use the submit form to report them to me!

In general, for the best experience, choose a site that is higher up and also meets the criteria you want (features over trustworthiness, promotions over features...etc).

Pink colour indicates that this website is one of the best in its field for the stated criteria. It's a coveted prize for only the best sites!

Long Overview

PrimeDice: Overall Rating A
Trustworthiness: A Reliability: A Promotions: A- Features: B+

Description: PrimeDice is a long-running Bitcoin Dicing site, running since May 2013. It has easily the largest thread of all known Bitcoin Gambling Websites, sitting at around 670 pages. The Owner is extremely trusted, the website is very reliable and only has extremely rare slow-downs with withdrawals, and it also has good promotions. While it has a lot of features in the dice site itself - a chatroom, automated betting, 2FA, etc. - it is still only a dice site, and the experience can be a little bland after a while, hence the A- for Features. However, PrimeDice is easily one of the best options for Bitcoin Gambling at this point in time.

777Coin: Overall Rating A
Trustworthiness: A Reliability: A- Promotions: A Features: A-

Description: 777Coin is another long-running Bitcoin Gambling site, running since June 2013. It also has an extremely active Bitcointalk presence, with a thread size of 286 pages. lightlord, one of the owners of 777Coin, has the "Donator" status on Bitcointalk, and the website is very trusted throughout the community. It's also extremely reliable, with good promotions, and a range of features and games to gamble on. In fact, I decided to give them an A+ for promotions due to them running some of the most famous promotions on Bitcointalk, such as the free mBTC thread amongst others. This, combined with everything else, means they come out with an A+ overall.

BitcoinRush: Overall Rating A-
Trustworthiness: B+ Reliability: A- Promotions: B+ Features: A

Description: BitcoinRush was launched in June 2013 and since launching has acquired Bit777 and PeerBet. These two websites are also decently large, making BitcoinRush overall a fairly large and formidable network. It's fair to say that with the extensive history behind the site and its properties that it's trusted, and there are hardly any issues with reliability either, as well as a good collection of promotions and a massive amount of features and games. Note: There have been issues regarding payouts from the affiliate program and them being withheld, so the Trustworthiness for BR was dropped a fine grade. However, I believe that overall they have still been trustworthy with their games.

LuckyBit: Overall Rating A-
Trustworthiness: A- Reliability: A- Promotions: A Features: A-

Description: LuckyBit is a Bitcoin Gambling Website with a fresh and unique concept, running since Oct 2013. It has a good amount of promotions, a decent amount of features such as a chatroom and chat lottery, and it's quite reliable. They are decently trusted, and even have a faucet. There's no doubt it's an awesome place to gamble, though it hasn't quite reached perfection.

Crypto-Games: Overall Rating A-
Trustworthiness: B+ Reliability: A- Promotions: B+ Features: A

Description: Crypto-Games is essentially a casino with a wide variety of games. They've been around since 2014 and their thread is decently large now, so while they're not rubbing necks with the most trustworthy sites quite yet, they're still decently trustworthy. However, for me, the site shines with its promotions and features. I love the military rank-based level system, where you can see yourself level up through the ranks taking into account what you've wagered, invested, your referral commissions and more. In fact, at level 30 (the highest level) you get a ridiculous 0.00020500 per faucet request with 60 requests a day. Right now, that's about $5 a day from the faucet alone at the highest level, and while it's tough to get there, that's not too bad at all. You also have a bunch of promotions such as 0% house edge on games for periods of time, of course the faucet and level system, and they're constantly adding new games and coins. This site isn't the oldest, but it definitely earns an A. The only thing holding it back, in my opinion, is the fact that it looks a little messy. That's not something I like to rate sites on, though, so I haven't really taken that into account.

BetterBets: Overall Rating A-
Trustworthiness: A- Reliability: A- Promotions: A Features: B+

Description: BetterBets has, for a relatively new casino established in May 2015, experienced an insane amount of growth and it's quite clear why. BetterBets uses the Moneypot API for betting and their faucet (the faucet being another positive point), making it both extremely unlikely that you'll lose your BTC and easy to transfer BTC across to other casinos. Their user interface looks awesome and has a really great aesthetic quality to it, especially with the pull-out menu. They also have a bunch of innovative promotions, enough for me to warrant giving them the coveted A+ for this category: for instance, "luck forging", a feature which allows you to build it up until you have 1,000 bets made where you can then make 20 bets at a reduced house edge of 0.5% (limited to 5x their average bet during that time), a great tool for high rollers. They also have a happy hour every Friday with a 0.25% house edge during that time, as well as a raffle, 2FA, ability to invest into MoneyPot to indirectly invest into them, and a "cashback club" where you can receive up to 20% of your house edge back based on weekly volume and even get VIP statuses if you wager enough which give you a bunch of free raffle tickets. All-in-all, a great casino with a great amount of promotions that could only be improved slightly by making the features a bit more unique (most of the features grade comes from the promotions such as luck forging).

FortuneJack: Overall Rating A-
Trustworthiness: B+ Reliability: A- Promotions: A- Features: A-

Description: Quite the nice gambling website, and quite professionally presented. It could easily step up to challenge other gambling sites in the future for their market share. The site is still a bit of a fledgling but is gaining traction. I'm proud to say that FortuneJack now is quite a large site with an awesome amount of promotions and features! They've come a long way and they definitely have earned a re-review (actually being bumped up in 3 of the 4 areas). The amount of stuff they have is absolutely ridiculous and they definitely earn As in Promotions and Features, and I'm sure that I can move them up to an A overall shortly. I moved them from B+ to A for Reliability, A- to A for Promotions, A- to A for Features, and B+ to A overall. The only reason they remain at an A- for Trustworthiness is a small hiccup with some stats that may have been fixed (though they claim it was a bug), but overall the site has vastly improved.

DirectBet: Overall Rating B+
Trustworthiness: A- Reliability: A- Promotions: B Features: B+

Description: DirectBet is a sportsbook with no major complaints against it, running since Dec 2013. Its thread is decently active, with 165 pages, and the service seems quite reliable with no major complaints of withdrawal delays or downtimes. However, promotions seem to be either a little thin or hard to find at first glance.

bustabit: Overall Rating B+
Trustworthiness: A- Reliability: B+ Promotions: B Features: A

Description: bustabit is a Bitcoin Gambling Website which brings a new concept to the table, where the multiplier is continuously rising and you have to cash out before it crashes and you lose your money. It's a concept which is definitely unique and great fun. The website seems decently trusted in the community, though its Bitcointalk thread doesn't have a massive amount of activity. It also lacks a bit on promotions, though it does offer a faucet. However, it's still great fun.

PocketRocketsCasino: Overall Rating B+
Trustworthiness: B Reliability: A- Promotions: A Features: B

Description: PocketRocketsCasino came around in 2013 and has been doing fairly well ever since. There are some complaints raised against it on Bitcointalk, but it also has a massive amount of trust and a massive amount of investments. Just about everything else to do with the website is done well, and some of the promotions for the website are top-of-the-line.

NitrogenSports: Overall Rating B+
Trustworthiness: B+ Reliability: A- Promotions: B+ Features: B+

Description: NitrogenSports is also a sportsbook with no major complaints against it, running since Dec 2013. Its thread is active, with 102 pages, and again the service seems quite reliable with no major complaints of withdrawal delays or downtimes. Promotions are there as well as various interesting features such as their "Poker Rewards" system, and the website looks professionally done.

Betcoin Network: Overall Rating B+
Trustworthiness: B+ Reliability: B+ Promotions: A- Features: A-

Description: The Betcoin Network consists of 3 different websites operated by Betcoin. The network has a decent presence on Bitcointalk and is also decently trusted. It also has a number of different promotions, as well as features and games (I consider it a network due to it having multiple websites). With time the ratings for the network could easily increase.

AnoniBet: Overall Rating B
Trustworthiness: A- Reliability: A- Promotions: B Features: B+

Description: AnoniBet has been online for an extremely long time, starting up in December 2011, and it's safe to say that it's unlikely they're going to run off with your coins when they have a great history of being reliable. The casino sports some decent features such as the option to open your account with USD as the base currency, but it falters where I believe that it does not match up in promotions and falls a little bit short on features compared to other sites. However, in my opinion AnoniBet is massively on the fringe between being a B+ and A- and this was a tough call, therefore it is at the top of the B+ list.

Cloudbet: Overall Rating B
Trustworthiness: B+ Reliability: B Promotions: B Features: A-

Description: Cloudbet is decent in about all areas - it's decently trustworthy, decently reliable, and it has decent promotions. However, where the website really shines is it's selection of games - it has quite the variety compared to other gambling sites. However, I have recently personally had issues with withdrawals from their website (though this was namely their affiliate panel) where an error has left me unable to withdraw for a large period of time, and support gave me a reply that seemed copy-pasted and not even relevant, claiming I had made deposits on the main site when I hadn't. For this reason, their reliability falls a bit in my opinion.

SatoshiDice Network: Overall Rating C
Trustworthiness: C- Reliability: D Promotions: B Features: B

Description: SatoshiDice used to be the largest Bitcoin Gambling Website in existence, however unfortunately now that isn't really the case. They probably won't run away with your money with all of their history, but SatoshiDice has proven to be unreliable with delays causing people to have money frozen for long periods of time. The promotions are alright and there are also multiple games available, but if you want to avoid inconsistency I would stay away from SatoshiDice and stick to the other games the network offers as most of the issues seem to occur with SatoshiDice. Update: LOTS of issues have led to Trustworthiness/Reliability ratings for SD being dropped massively. I recommend against using them.

Explain your reasoning:

Rating Modification Requests will be read and replied to as soon as possible. However, the owner of the thread has no obligation to fulfil them, and it is unlikely that website owners will be able to have their own ratings modified unless they put forward an EXTREMELY convincing argument.

Note: I define a "popular" Bitcoin Gambling Website as one with a Bitcointalk thread with a size of over 25 pages (though I reserve the right to give some leniency). That doesn't actually necessarily mean it's popular, but it sorts out the ribble rabble and stops people screaming to add x y and z unknown sites. I also used Mitchell's layout from his Overview of Signature Campaigns thread, with his permission. Cheers mate! There are also referral links used in this thread. If you want to avoid them, just google the site name and go there directly. Also, Ponzis will not be added.

GAMBLING SITE OWNERS PLEASE READ! If you come here or on PM and attack me because of ratings I've given you, I'm more than likely to just completely ignore any request you make. If you honestly think some of your ratings should be bumped up a bit, please make a sensible post with reasoning. But lots of gambling sites have tried to give me grief so far and your special one is not going to get preferential treatment. Thanks!

thanks for the complete overview.

No problem! I appreciate the support, it can be hard to get a fledgling thread to be noticed in the Gambling section haha.

Nice reviews.  I remember you from that Satoshibet competition a while back. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=265479.msg2906192#msg2906192
You just beat me out for second place if I remember right.  Good times.

PrimeDice is agreeably one of the best if not the best, even has a faucet that goes from 500 to 10k satoshi. I think it deserves an A on features for that.

Also you should consider trying out / reviewing coinichiwa, has some insanely fast autobets and a jackpot feature

Coinichiwa doesn't seem massively popular yet, but I'll check them out.

Believe me, as a PrimeDice mod (I did put this in the disclaimer) I know. But it's only one game, remember.

I might suggest that you give more specific criteria that would judge each website on. For example for trustworthiness you could say that "A+" means the casino .... "A" means the casino .... and so on. You would do the same for each of the other categories.

Unfortunately it's hard to give precise ratings like that because each gambling website is just so different. After I've had more experience I may attempt something like that, but for now no.

I would also just take out ponzi schemes all together. They are doing more harm then good to both bitcoin and to people's willingness to have fun at casinos. They also come and go so quickly that it will be nearly impossible to keep up with

I do like this though Smiley

Yeah, when I was originally typing this I had a rule stating "I will not add Ponzis whatsoever". But I removed that, simply to add them in and give them bad ratings to show how sad it is they get popular and how risky they are. They'll never get anything above a D+.

What about PartyPonzi, WeeklyPonzi, LotteryPonzi... etcetc

Lol, I'm joking. It's a good list, someone should have done this a long time ago. You should add SealsWithClubs too.
