Overview of Popular Bitcoin Gambling Websites
Gambling websites are rated on 4 different aspects: Trustworthiness (a mixture of combinations - Bitcointalk trust, number of complaints, etc.), Reliability (are there withdrawal issues, uptime issues, etc.), Promotions (casino bonuses, holiday events, etc.) and Features (how unique the site is). These ratings are combined to give an Overall rating, which the Gambling Websites in this list are ordered by. Additionally, the time the website has been online for and the amount of pages the website's Bitcointalk thread has is listed. A high rating for a website does not equate to my personal endorsement (you should still use your own judgement), and I also do not accept bribes in order to boost a website's rating. Bias is avoided. Ratings are from A+ to D- - if a gambling website scores an Overall rating of D-, all of its ratings will be changed to F until the problems are rectified. You may observe that the vast majority of the websites on this thread have decent ratings. That would be because I'm avoiding the riff raff of gambling sites. Note that this is a new thread, and I have likely missed a few Gambling Websites. Please use the submit form to report them to me!In general, for the best experience, choose a site that is higher up and also meets the criteria you want (features over trustworthiness, promotions over features...etc). Pink colour indicates that this website is one of the best in its field for the stated criteria. It's a coveted prize for only the best sites!
Short Overview
Long Overview PrimeDice: Overall Rating A Trustworthiness: A Reliability: A Promotions: A- Features: B+Description: PrimeDice is a long-running Bitcoin Dicing site, running since May 2013. It has easily the largest thread of all known Bitcoin Gambling Websites, sitting at around 670 pages. The Owner is extremely trusted, the website is very reliable and only has extremely rare slow-downs with withdrawals, and it also has good promotions. While it has a lot of features in the dice site itself - a chatroom, automated betting, 2FA, etc. - it is still only a dice site, and the experience can be a little bland after a while, hence the A- for Features. However, PrimeDice is easily one of the best options for Bitcoin Gambling at this point in time. 777Coin: Overall Rating A Trustworthiness: A Reliability: A- Promotions: A Features: A-Description: 777Coin is another long-running Bitcoin Gambling site, running since June 2013. It also has an extremely active Bitcointalk presence, with a thread size of 286 pages. lightlord, one of the owners of 777Coin, has the "Donator" status on Bitcointalk, and the website is very trusted throughout the community. It's also extremely reliable, with good promotions, and a range of features and games to gamble on. In fact, I decided to give them an A+ for promotions due to them running some of the most famous promotions on Bitcointalk, such as the free mBTC thread amongst others. This, combined with everything else, means they come out with an A+ overall. BitcoinRush: Overall Rating A- Trustworthiness: B+ Reliability: A- Promotions: B+ Features: ADescription: BitcoinRush was launched in June 2013 and since launching has acquired Bit777 and PeerBet. These two websites are also decently large, making BitcoinRush overall a fairly large and formidable network. It's fair to say that with the extensive history behind the site and its properties that it's trusted, and there are hardly any issues with reliability either, as well as a good collection of promotions and a massive amount of features and games. Note: There have been issues regarding payouts from the affiliate program and them being withheld, so the Trustworthiness for BR was dropped a fine grade. However, I believe that overall they have still been trustworthy with their games. LuckyBit: Overall Rating A- Trustworthiness: A- Reliability: A- Promotions: A Features: A-Description: LuckyBit is a Bitcoin Gambling Website with a fresh and unique concept, running since Oct 2013. It has a good amount of promotions, a decent amount of features such as a chatroom and chat lottery, and it's quite reliable. They are decently trusted, and even have a faucet. There's no doubt it's an awesome place to gamble, though it hasn't quite reached perfection. Crypto-Games: Overall Rating A- Trustworthiness: B+ Reliability: A- Promotions: B+ Features: ADescription: Crypto-Games is essentially a casino with a wide variety of games. They've been around since 2014 and their thread is decently large now, so while they're not rubbing necks with the most trustworthy sites quite yet, they're still decently trustworthy. However, for me, the site shines with its promotions and features. I love the military rank-based level system, where you can see yourself level up through the ranks taking into account what you've wagered, invested, your referral commissions and more. In fact, at level 30 (the highest level) you get a ridiculous 0.00020500 per faucet request with 60 requests a day. Right now, that's about $5 a day from the faucet alone at the highest level, and while it's tough to get there, that's not too bad at all. You also have a bunch of promotions such as 0% house edge on games for periods of time, of course the faucet and level system, and they're constantly adding new games and coins. This site isn't the oldest, but it definitely earns an A. The only thing holding it back, in my opinion, is the fact that it looks a little messy. That's not something I like to rate sites on, though, so I haven't really taken that into account. BetterBets: Overall Rating A- Trustworthiness: A- Reliability: A- Promotions: A Features: B+Description: BetterBets has, for a relatively new casino established in May 2015, experienced an insane amount of growth and it's quite clear why. BetterBets uses the Moneypot API for betting and their faucet (the faucet being another positive point), making it both extremely unlikely that you'll lose your BTC and easy to transfer BTC across to other casinos. Their user interface looks awesome and has a really great aesthetic quality to it, especially with the pull-out menu. They also have a bunch of innovative promotions, enough for me to warrant giving them the coveted A+ for this category: for instance, "luck forging", a feature which allows you to build it up until you have 1,000 bets made where you can then make 20 bets at a reduced house edge of 0.5% (limited to 5x their average bet during that time), a great tool for high rollers. They also have a happy hour every Friday with a 0.25% house edge during that time, as well as a raffle, 2FA, ability to invest into MoneyPot to indirectly invest into them, and a "cashback club" where you can receive up to 20% of your house edge back based on weekly volume and even get VIP statuses if you wager enough which give you a bunch of free raffle tickets. All-in-all, a great casino with a great amount of promotions that could only be improved slightly by making the features a bit more unique (most of the features grade comes from the promotions such as luck forging). FortuneJack: Overall Rating A- Trustworthiness: B+ Reliability: A- Promotions: A- Features: A- Description: Quite the nice gambling website, and quite professionally presented. It could easily step up to challenge other gambling sites in the future for their market share. The site is still a bit of a fledgling but is gaining traction. I'm proud to say that FortuneJack now is quite a large site with an awesome amount of promotions and features! They've come a long way and they definitely have earned a re-review (actually being bumped up in 3 of the 4 areas). The amount of stuff they have is absolutely ridiculous and they definitely earn As in Promotions and Features, and I'm sure that I can move them up to an A overall shortly. I moved them from B+ to A for Reliability, A- to A for Promotions, A- to A for Features, and B+ to A overall. The only reason they remain at an A- for Trustworthiness is a small hiccup with some stats that may have been fixed (though they claim it was a bug), but overall the site has vastly improved. DirectBet: Overall Rating B+ Trustworthiness: A- Reliability: A- Promotions: B Features: B+Description: DirectBet is a sportsbook with no major complaints against it, running since Dec 2013. Its thread is decently active, with 165 pages, and the service seems quite reliable with no major complaints of withdrawal delays or downtimes. However, promotions seem to be either a little thin or hard to find at first glance. bustabit: Overall Rating B+ Trustworthiness: A- Reliability: B+ Promotions: B Features: ADescription: bustabit is a Bitcoin Gambling Website which brings a new concept to the table, where the multiplier is continuously rising and you have to cash out before it crashes and you lose your money. It's a concept which is definitely unique and great fun. The website seems decently trusted in the community, though its Bitcointalk thread doesn't have a massive amount of activity. It also lacks a bit on promotions, though it does offer a faucet. However, it's still great fun. PocketRocketsCasino: Overall Rating B+ Trustworthiness: B Reliability: A- Promotions: A Features: B Description: PocketRocketsCasino came around in 2013 and has been doing fairly well ever since. There are some complaints raised against it on Bitcointalk, but it also has a massive amount of trust and a massive amount of investments. Just about everything else to do with the website is done well, and some of the promotions for the website are top-of-the-line. NitrogenSports: Overall Rating B+ Trustworthiness: B+ Reliability: A- Promotions: B+ Features: B+Description: NitrogenSports is also a sportsbook with no major complaints against it, running since Dec 2013. Its thread is active, with 102 pages, and again the service seems quite reliable with no major complaints of withdrawal delays or downtimes. Promotions are there as well as various interesting features such as their "Poker Rewards" system, and the website looks professionally done. Betcoin Network: Overall Rating B+ Trustworthiness: B+ Reliability: B+ Promotions: A- Features: A-Description: The Betcoin Network consists of 3 different websites operated by Betcoin. The network has a decent presence on Bitcointalk and is also decently trusted. It also has a number of different promotions, as well as features and games (I consider it a network due to it having multiple websites). With time the ratings for the network could easily increase. AnoniBet: Overall Rating B Trustworthiness: A- Reliability: A- Promotions: B Features: B+Description: AnoniBet has been online for an extremely long time, starting up in December 2011, and it's safe to say that it's unlikely they're going to run off with your coins when they have a great history of being reliable. The casino sports some decent features such as the option to open your account with USD as the base currency, but it falters where I believe that it does not match up in promotions and falls a little bit short on features compared to other sites. However, in my opinion AnoniBet is massively on the fringe between being a B+ and A- and this was a tough call, therefore it is at the top of the B+ list. Cloudbet: Overall Rating B Trustworthiness: B+ Reliability: B Promotions: B Features: A- Description: Cloudbet is decent in about all areas - it's decently trustworthy, decently reliable, and it has decent promotions. However, where the website really shines is it's selection of games - it has quite the variety compared to other gambling sites. However, I have recently personally had issues with withdrawals from their website (though this was namely their affiliate panel) where an error has left me unable to withdraw for a large period of time, and support gave me a reply that seemed copy-pasted and not even relevant, claiming I had made deposits on the main site when I hadn't. For this reason, their reliability falls a bit in my opinion. SatoshiDice Network: Overall Rating C Trustworthiness: C- Reliability: D Promotions: B Features: B Description: SatoshiDice used to be the largest Bitcoin Gambling Website in existence, however unfortunately now that isn't really the case. They probably won't run away with your money with all of their history, but SatoshiDice has proven to be unreliable with delays causing people to have money frozen for long periods of time. The promotions are alright and there are also multiple games available, but if you want to avoid inconsistency I would stay away from SatoshiDice and stick to the other games the network offers as most of the issues seem to occur with SatoshiDice. Update: LOTS of issues have led to Trustworthiness/Reliability ratings for SD being dropped massively. I recommend against using them.
Rating Modification Template Use this template to request a modification of a website's ratings if you think they are inaccurate.
Gambling Website Name: New Ratings: Trustworthiness: Reliability: Promotions: Features: Overall: Explain your reasoning:
Rating Modification Requests will be read and replied to as soon as possible. However, the owner of the thread has no obligation to fulfil them, and it is unlikely that website owners will be able to have their own ratings modified unless they put forward an EXTREMELY convincing argument.
Note: I define a "popular" Bitcoin Gambling Website as one with a Bitcointalk thread with a size of over 25 pages (though I reserve the right to give some leniency). That doesn't actually necessarily mean it's popular, but it sorts out the ribble rabble and stops people screaming to add x y and z unknown sites. I also used Mitchell's layout from his Overview of Signature Campaigns thread, with his permission. Cheers mate! There are also referral links used in this thread. If you want to avoid them, just google the site name and go there directly. Also, Ponzis will not be added.GAMBLING SITE OWNERS PLEASE READ! If you come here or on PM and attack me because of ratings I've given you, I'm more than likely to just completely ignore any request you make. If you honestly think some of your ratings should be bumped up a bit, please make a sensible post with reasoning. But lots of gambling sites have tried to give me grief so far and your special one is not going to get preferential treatment. Thanks!

PrimeDice is agreeably one of the best if not the best, even has a faucet that goes from 500 to 10k satoshi. I think it deserves an A on features for that.
Also you should consider trying out / reviewing coinichiwa, has some insanely fast autobets and a jackpot feature

Coinichiwa doesn't seem massively popular yet, but I'll check them out.
Believe me, as a PrimeDice mod (I did put this in the disclaimer) I know. But it's only one game, remember.

I might suggest that you give more specific criteria that would judge each website on. For example for trustworthiness you could say that "A+" means the casino .... "A" means the casino .... and so on. You would do the same for each of the other categories.

Unfortunately it's hard to give precise ratings like that because each gambling website is just so different. After I've had more experience I may attempt something like that, but for now no.

I would also just take out ponzi schemes all together. They are doing more harm then good to both bitcoin and to people's willingness to have fun at casinos. They also come and go so quickly that it will be nearly impossible to keep up with I do like this though

But I removed that, simply to add them in and give them bad ratings to show how sad it is they get popular and how risky they are. They'll never get anything above a D+.

OK All you had to do was ask. I'll add you shortly. No need to be a bit of a dick about it, though. If you read the thread, it does state I add gambling sites with a bitcointalk thread size of 25+ pages, so you should be on there. Loving the bias on WeeklyPonzi. Just because it's a ponzi game doesn't instantly make it untrustworthy. If you ask any of my users they will tell you that I'm an honest guy. I've had many chances to run with 100+ BTC in my wallet yet I continued to uphold the trust of the site. Yesterday I also seeded the round with 20 BTC directly from my own personal wallet. Maybe take the time to actually analyse the game before seeing "ponzi" and labelling it a scam straight up. There used to be a thing called "journalistic integrity". Not anymore I suppose.
Thanks.

If you are going to put ref links, at least let people know they are ref links instead of hiding them in goo.gl urls...

Did I not add a Disclaimer? I must have forgot, my bad. They're not all ref links though, they're all covered in goo.gl just so I can track click statistics. 24HourPonzi.com: It's a Ponzi. Ponzis are not trustworthy. Simple.

Loving the bias on WeeklyPonzi. Just because it's a ponzi game doesn't instantly make it untrustworthy. -snip-
I think this discussion is moot here. It might be a good idea for someone heavily into the ponzi game scene to make a similar list. To offer guidance. While I personally am not convinced that there is a single honest ponzi game out there and thus agree with DiamondCardz, I am probably biased as well. Coinichiwa doesn't seem massively popular yet, but I'll check them out.
Believe me, as a PrimeDice mod (I did put this in the disclaimer) I know. But it's only one game, remember.
Do you some sort of system to determine the popularity of a certain site or do you just go by your gut feeling? Nevermind, found the smallprint... -snip- Ponzis are not trustworthy. Simple.
Since you are biased and IMHO rightfully so I think its best to leave ponzis out in general. You could add a disclaimer that you are not willing to add a ponzi game/hyip or any form of gambling that works in a similar fashion. Something like the description theymos used for the proposed new section. -snip- Investor-based games Games where the main factor is whether or not new "investors" join the game. Also any Bitcoin-denominated investment product with an APR of 15% or more, which are similarly risky even if they're not actually paying interest using investor deposits. -snip- While I understand where you are coming from with your rating I also think that these overviews should have a higher standard of neutrality.

Yeah, I originally wasn't going to include Ponzis but changed my mind. I might revise that soon once I've thought about it.

So pocketrocketscasino, who has handled thousands of btc, done thousands in withdrawals gets B- in trust because of a bitter snail seller over his affiliates? which was canceled because he took over a domain similar to PRC and called it scam? Legit.

I was actually contacted by PRC. This was my reply. I may review your trustworthiness status at a later date. B- is not the end of the world. However do try to resolve your trust with BAC rather than sitting there and letting it lie.
I disagree that you should be A+ and it seems kind of off for you to just PM me claiming you're the most trusted site operator. If you resolve that negative trust, your trustworthiness will go up.
If efforts are at least publicly made to resolve that (or if there have been and proof can be shown to me), I'll bump the Trustworthiness up.

So a guy that is mod at a COMPETING site, which tried to label PRC a scam because he's a bitter child, has to work it out with Dean? Right. Maybe Dean should "buy" some worthless btctalk trust like everyone else.

What a great effort I don't see any other type of gambling like binary trading ( second trade or action crypto or coinut ) coin-sweeper, digit.io , money pot , and coinichiwa Are they are not include as popular gambling site ? They don't have threads above 25 pages in length, or if they do, I just haven't seen them yet. I was considering adding Coinichiwa, though.

There's not enough info for me to make an informed decision. I can't see any recent downtime or withdrawal issues, but it also has only been up for half a year or so, and the As and A+s for reliability are mainly for those 1-2+ year sites which have a history of constantly staying up. Edit: If there's any sites where their ratings don't match with my statements, please do tell me. I might have overlooked something.

Well, that sounds more than reasonable to me, but having that stated somewhere would be a smart idea, because I'm sure this will be asked again.

Updating OP later today when I get to a PC (on mobile). I do, I get constant updates about everything. However, I haven't had time to update everything yet. My internship is consuming almost all of my time, but I have only two more weeks to go, so I after that everything should be smooth sailing. Don't worry to much, things will start to roll after a while and before you know you spend a lot of time testing and re-testing casino's. You will be re-testing casino's, right?

I marked it F, no? It's there as a warning to people about Ponzi schemes, though I think I'll remove Ponzis. Of course, I'll be retesting casinos @Mitchell. I'm also hoping people will use the template in the OP to help me out.

-snip- Of course, I'll be retesting casinos @Mitchell. I'm also hoping people will use the template in the OP to help me out. Be sure to double check their posts and be certain that their personal interest don't interfere with the post. If someone has a signature of the casino he reviewed you can be certain it's biased in some way. Not sure if I would accept someone else's opinion in a thread like this, but that's your call.

Oh yeah, of course. It does state that I reserve the right to review casinos as I wish and ignore rating change requests, and obviously I'll be taking all requests with a pinch of salt.

Can I ask you why have you put also crypto double ?
I marked it F, no? It's there as a warning to people about Ponzi schemes, though I think I'll remove Ponzis. Of course, I'll be retesting casinos @Mitchell. I'm also hoping people will use the template in the OP to help me out. Ok , thanks for the reply ... Maybe it is better to use the [ s] function.

I'll check them soon. It does state in the OP that I've probably missed some and I'll check them if you notify me. Ponzis generally have low ratings and I'll probably cut them out after the last surviving one in the OP collapses.

You forgot some dice sites:
-Rollin.io -999dice -MultiDice
I feel like it's pointless to add the ponzis to the list. 99% of them are scams so every ponzi you put up there is gonna get a low grade.
Edit: There is also Diggit.io, and Satoshi Mines

LuckyBit: Overall Rating A- Trustworthiness: B+ Reliability: A Promotions: A Features: ADescription: LuckyBit is a Bitcoin Gambling Website with a fresh and unique concept, running since Oct 2013. It has a good amount of promotions, a decent amount of features such as a chatroom and chat lottery, and it's quite reliable. The only reason they have a B+ for trustworthiness is because I don't feel they have quite yet achieved the level of trust the higher-up gambling sites hold. However, I can see their Overall rating increasing to an A soon. Surprising to see B+ for trustworthiness. I guess for provably fair sites which have been in existence for quite some time, the rating should be higher.

I'm surprised Luckyb.it & win88.me got low Trustworthiness] LuckyBit is totally trustworthy Win88.me already have a lot of investors there & most of them satisfied with win88.me YEah, thats surprising. If anyone I trust is Luckyb.it . They also odon't keep your money and always offer block chain gambling, which shows that your will be paid no matter what, and they don't have any funds to run away with. So where does the trust question comes in ?

I'm adjusting ratings and adding new websites today.
Please, use that template to suggest rating changes so I can get an idea of your reasoning.
If I can't be 100% sure of what I should rate a website, it will inevitably get a lower rating until that proof comes up.

Unfortunately I don't review on request. Thanks for the feedback, everyone! Ok , I'll work on making it more relevant, I got a trusted 3rd party escrow now, and a public provably fair algorythm to select the winners, btw thank you for all the work you do

MoneyPot: Overall Rating A- Trustworthiness: B+ Reliability: A- Promotions: B+ Features: A+ Description: MoneyPot is a Bitcoin Gambling Website which brings a new concept to the table, where the multiplier is continuously rising and you have to cash out before it crashes and you lose your money. It's a concept which is definitely unique and great fun. The website seems decently trusted in the community, though its Bitcointalk thread doesn't have a massive amount of activity. It also lacks a bit on promotions, though it does offer a faucet. However, it's still great fun. I would give MoneyPot (Ryan) an A+ for Trustworthiness. He returned some losing bets on the 21 Jan 2015, see https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=709185.msg10228052#msg10228052

I deleted your post because you advised someone to not invest in Pocket Rockets Casino but to invest at a competitor site. That's not reasonable. I told you you could leave the post if you removed that link. I don't mind people advising others to spread their risk over multiple sites or investments. Many of the people who invest in PRC also invest in other sites. Your links are nonsense though. You say I censor your post to my detriment and then link to a post from 2 and a half months ago which is totally unrelated. Nowhere in my other post you linked did I say anything misleading. I never repeatedly asked for trust and don't even care for the trust on this forum as it's easily manipulated by scammers and trolls. I said that was a solution which it is, and a realistic one. If investors felt that me having a red sign near my name was bad for the site then they can choose to counter it if they want. But I don't think they do feel that it has any real effect since Pocket Rockets Casino has the most investment, most wagered and most profit of all crowdfunded Bitcoin dice sites.

Just read this ^. You might want to be careful keeping that 10 BTC on there. Obviously, if you have good profits you won't mind losing them, but must feel bad if something like this happens. I apologize to the thread creator for us having this discussion here. I wish there was something on the forum, that would not allow a questionable gambling casino to run a moderated thread.

That is fine, I'm going to just watch the discussion. I don't consider it derailing as this is a thread designed to review casinos. This is actually a useful discussion.

Isn't particularly good reasoning, it basically consists of "the site is good" without really going in-depth. Definitely not going to warrant the first overall A+.

Hello,
First of all thank you for reviewing FortuneJack.com
Could you please elaborate more on what is your reasoning behind these grades?
Trustworthiness is more or less understandable, you base it on time. Although it is a shame that most professional crypto casino run by a professional team with many years of experience in this industry, gets B- rating. Of course we understandthat it is your personal opinion and not based on any formula or evauation method.
Reliability: Could you please specify in what instances did you find FortuneJack less reliable which resulted into B+ grade. while almost all of our competitors have better evaluation? If there is such case we would definitely look into it.
Promotions: FortuneJack offer Welcome Bonus, Loyalty Program, 10 BTC Leaderboard, 3 Weekly Promotions, Progressive Jackpots in several games, Faucet in Dice and some giveaways. In total I listed 8 promotions that we offer to our customers. All bonuses and promos are quite rewarding and most of them are guaranteed to the users on weekly basis.
Our evaluation in Promotions section is B+, could you please let the community know which one of our competitors have better promotion offerings? Would be very interesting to know.
Features: In features FortuneJack is evaluated with A- while some of our competitors are evaluated with A’s. Again what’s the reasoning behind it?
FortuneJack offer 12 different game categories (we recently added 170+ Slot games) most of game categories are in-house developed and operated by us (even live casino), we do not use the same third party software which most of the casinos use in this industry. We offer 9 different cryptocurrency gambling options and instant withdraws, so specifically what features get us A- and our competitors A?
Overall a B rating... it is totally understandable that it is your personal opinion and we respect that. We will let community judge if it is a fair evaluation or not.
Again, thank you for the representation and looking forward to more detailed insights.

in stead of throwing your toys, don't take it personal. you have the privilege to be reviewed and you have been given the opportunity to demonstrate your service quality. now you basically bitch and moan, eloquently - granted; but its still bitching and moaning.

Speaking of which, do you guys have a security bounty? How much do you pay for the responsible disclosure of a high-severity security bug that directly effects users? seems like youjust discovered a security flaw and ready to take on the bounty , goodluck with it

To be fair I haven't modified FJ's rating for a couple weeks when I really should have. However - the points espringe raises are completely valid. For now, I see no issue with a B rating. Remember, I have to work with limited information and I do not always have time to scan through every page of every single gambling site I review, I have to rely on my current BTC affairs knowledge and skimming quite a lot. Despite that, my reviews are generally quite accurate.
Updated the OP, as a note, to change some ratings. More will be changed soon.

Honestly, it's ridiculous that bitcointalk allows him to censor it the way it does. For instance, Dean's kelly calculations are actually off by around ~10% (when an investor does a 1x kelly, they're really doing about a 1.1x) we all know that maths isn't his strong point but instead of that coming to light he'd rather just delete it. Why anyone takes this guy seriously, is beyond me. Maybe, try posting it during the english sleeping time. 3 hours from now. Enough comments on your post will make it hard for him to delete them

Yes, please judge FortuneJack fairly with more detailed insights from the community found here regarding withheld 54.9 BTC https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=954601 We would like to announce that account hold on user Get_Money has been lifted. After careful inspection of this situation we have lifted the hold on user’s initial deposit as well as the winnings. User Get_Money can now access and withdraw his/her account on FortuneJack and claim winnings to the fullest. In total 54.98 BTC. For the past couple of days many questions have been asked and many allegations have been made towards our casino, while it is understandable that similar situations often cast doubt, community should also understand that as a professional crypto casino, we are obliged to take some security precautions in order to make sure that our system is 100% secure and fair. As a result of fraud investigation, no proof has been found that user Get_Money played and won in an unlawful and/or fraudulent way. Therefore, we would like to congratulate the winner and apologize for a delayed investigation. We do realize that such cases should be handled much faster and we assure you that we will try our best to increase the effectiveness of handling such situations, but you as users should also understand that fraud protection is a crucial part of any professional casino operation and it cannot and will not be eliminated. Let us state the questionable facts that led to this fraud investigation: 1. User played 3300 hands with 1200 loosing and 1100 winning stakes, got 2200% of profit over his initial deposit within 20 hours of playing. So he knew exactly when to bet high and when low. 2. While checking IP addresses, we concluded he was playing via VPN or Proxy server, as we had 4 different country IP’s listed in our database. User described his VPN decision as his privacy concern, while his emails stated name, middle name and surname fully (most probably fake) 3. User started playing with 2 BTC and low bets (0.05) and had a quite rapid rise to 17 BTC. We are not saying it is a fraud but fraud team HAS to look into this kind of bets, it is a requirement which some people fail to understand. 4. Again, individually none of these facts are enough for fraud inspections, but these facts combined together with minor ones like: specific wallet for gambling on FortuneJack, being a high roller with no bitcointalk account (and then suddenly registering), raised the need for fraud inspection. We could not exclude the possibility of player knowing the card outcome before cards were dealt. We had to check our system for possible bugs and glitches. Lots of people criticizing FortuneJack are not familiar with casino operations and will never understand standards behind it, but we want to assure you that we acted following all international standards of fraud protection. Since its foundation FortuneJack has been dedicated to bringing highest standards of professionalism and fairness to the crypto-currency gambling industry and we won’t accept unfair allegations from people who have 0 knowledge in the subject and have more trust in the user who registered several days ago than in a brand that never had a single issue with the community before. Finally, to close this issue we congratulate the winner and apologize for delay in handling this situation. We are open to any additional questions you might have. FortuneJack Management Team

My suggested changes: Primedice: A+ for reliability to A-. Maybe I just have bad luck, but the site has issues far often than most. But I'd also bump overall score to A+. Luckybit: I think they deserve an A+ for trustworthyness, mainly because the game is on chain and they don't have accounts. They require you to trust them a lot less. PrimeDice: Should have an F- for trustworthyness. Another day, and another insider realizes it: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/spa/f0lmlb6l9q465kn/vb5v_6t_.png (screenshoted, for when Dean deletes it). As far as I know, he's never stolen anyone's money -- but it's undeniable that he's a compulsive liar. I don't think Dean is a scammer, or has bad intentions -- but we need to hold operators to a much higher standard. Satoshi Dice: Should have trust downgraded a notch, and score downgraded a few notches. The site is attractive, but the edge is too high and all my experiences with it have been plagued with problems and strangenesses with my balance. I'd also add bitdice.me to the list -- it's a very well done site, definitely in the top three sites to dice (JD, PD and bitdice.me) I think you mean Pocket Rockets Melds was making many accounts to farm the site's faucet, it's pretty understandable why he limited Melds' withdraw

Thank you for this thread, the information us super useful. This overview need to be updated at present, too many new gambling sites out there, besides, the list is incomplete because I remember there was a popular funny site like luckybit called statoshicircle that's not in the list. PS. it's a old site back in 2013.

Thanks for compiling the list. I would like to protest our trustworthiness rating, though. We're on-chain, which means that additionally to being provably fair, everything we do is 100% transparent and public as it's recorded in the blockchain for ever. Additionally, we never hold customer funds.
As a result, we never had a customer complaint or have been facing founded scam accusations. Just see the comments in this thread: after operating for over one year, we're one of the most trusted gambling sites out there!

Sorry, ain't checked this in a while. I will <work> on updating it but I can't guarantee the speed of that. Please don't take A- as a bad Trustworthiness rating, it's still a top-tier rating and LuckyBit still comes out to an A overall which is the highest rating I've decided to give so far. I'll have a look and may decide to up that based on time that has passed - obviously I can't guarantee I'll increase it as this is designed to be a fair thread, not a thread where I change ratings at the request of website staff/owners. I do like LuckyBit, though. I will consider updating.

If you do update the list, could you rename MoneyPot to bustabit (it underwent a domain change, but under same ownership and same accounts etc.) I'll second LuckyB.it trustworthiness rating being improved to an A+. As they have no investors, and have every bet occur in public it is both exceedingly hard for them to cheat (without being seen) and all the incentives aligned for them to operate legitimately. Also it appears that satoshidice hasn't been responding to support issues for at least a couple months ( source), so you might want to update the chart to reflect them or just remove them until they're back in action
|
Check out gamblingsitefinder.com for a decent list/rankings of crypto casinos. Note: I have no affiliation or interest in it, and don't even agree with all the rankings ... but it's the only uncorrupted review site I'm aware of.

I'll take those all into account when I update it (probably tomorrow as it's a bit late for me now). Thanks for all of your info, I appreciate it as it's a pain to have to check through all these websites to see any changes or complaints.

Thread update - 28th May 2015
Some small changes:
- Increased LuckyBit's Trustworthiness to A, pending *possible* increase to A+ after a little bit more investigation. - Renamed MoneyPot to bustabit.
Some other things I'll hopefully do later today:
- Review SatoshiDICE's Reliability rating. - Re-check thread sizes. - Adjust Trustworthiness for most websites due to length online.
And *maybe* I will add a new site or two. Thinking DADICE as one.

Be sure to read this about DaDice: Recent dadice.com development. They don't want to show us proof of their reserves (aka. sharing their cold wallet address), which is sketchy IMO.

Be sure to read this about DaDice: Recent dadice.com development. They don't want to show us proof of their reserves (aka. sharing their cold wallet address), which is sketchy. Im still confused why wouldent they show the proof of there address?that will give make the site more safer for investment... why would they even run away with the funds when they can make a lot more with in few months of there site being online I think the only 2 investment sites that are at top in cryptoworld are Just-dice and bitdice.

That's what I'm confused about as well. From what I can gather, the two theories are: a) They're just scammers i.e. planning to make a run for it, b) They feel intimidated and bullied by their competitors and are trying to stand their ground. After all the backlash, though, I can't see how b) can still be valid, because surely they would've just caved in by now?

Massive thread update - 28th May 2015And now the big changes. - Removed SWC from the list. I will re-investigate them shortly but for now the entry I made on them is obsolete. - Lowered SatoshiDICE's Reliability rating from C+ to D after reviewing. - Lowered SatoshiDICE's Trustworthiness rating from A to C- after reviewing. - Raised thread sizes: PrimeDice, 691pg -> 821pg 777Coin, 287pg -> 289pg (might be missing something there...) CasinoBitco.in, 54pg -> 67pg PRC, 77pg -> 28pg (Using ONLY the most up-to-date thread I can find now) LuckyBit, 118pg -> 202pg DirectBet, 165pg -> 255pg NitrogenSports, 75pg -> 147pg AnoniBet, 102pg -> 87pg (Using ONLY the most up-to-date thread I can find now) Betcoin Network, 102pg -> 135pg bustabit, 49pg -> 97pg Win88, 76pg -> 93pg DiamondCardz' sanity, existent -> non-existent Cloudbet, 70pg -> 94pg SatoshiDICE Network, 106pg -> 127pg FortuneJack, 26pg -> 49pg - Increased Trustworthiness for the following websites by one gradient (excl. LuckyBit which I raised earlier today): 777Coin CasinoBitco.in DirectBet Win88 Cloudbet FortuneJack (x2) bustabit - Adjusted Overall ratings accordingly. DADICE may be added later today. My arms hurt. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE tell me any problems you may notice! I might have accidentally done something that doesn't match what I said or forgot to change something. But yeah, enjoy

After I add DADICE to the thread I'll work on compiling some ratings and an overview for SatoshiBet, as their thread does have more than the minimum of 25 pages to be able to get onto this thread.

Forgot to update it on Saturday, sorry lads. Currently working on adding the following sites:
- dadice - SafeDice - SatoshiBet
I may add one, two or all of those today. Next week I'll be busy so anything left over to then I won't be able to deal with most likely.

While you are at it. Please consider to add rollin.io as well . Here is the thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=687571.0, it has over 25 pages and it is one of the most popular dice sites around here and it seems to be one of the highest wagered site apart from PrimeDice although that the site wagered data is not released though

My apologies for not having added the new sites like I said I would yet, I'm going to be somewhat busy this week - and I really can't be bothered to have to review all that stuff now. I have time to post on Bitcointalk and read threads, but not really enough time to deposit to the sites, gamble, test out features, write a review - etc.

No, they just haven't been added yet. Note these are all popular gambling websites and in all fairness they are all pretty trustworthy, I can't pre-predict a scam nor am I going to downgrade the Trustworthiness of some websites so that the overview list consists of a smooth gradient from top to bottom of high to low ratings.

Sure. Once you reach 25 pages on your main thread I'll add you to my list of gambling websites to add, though it's likely by the time you reach 25 pages on your main thread I'll have added all of the websites on my list so there shouldn't really be much of a delay. Feel free to message me if I do miss you out after you've reached 25 pages.

Hello DiamondCardz, if you could review us in a couple months (if you are still doing this service) that would be great. The industry needs more people like you who are willing to give their time like this.
Thank you,

I'd rather you have a pristine Casino anyway before sending you some btc to test Keep it up!

Yes, not to bribe just for testing as it sometimes is difficult to judge performance from faucet alone. You can give it back to the house after done, lose it all, keep it (whatever you like) I only want fair reviews anyway which is why I like what you are doing here.

Nice. But is this thread meant to include all BTC gambling websites (poker, dice, all-round casinos etc)? If so, your list will grow significantly when updated, and it's going to be a whole lot of work to update it regularly.

Even if it is made exclusive to dice sites, it would have some 25-50.

Well it is called an overview of popular Bitcoin gambling websites.
This is defined in the footer of the OP:
Note: I define a "popular" Bitcoin Gambling Website as one with a Bitcointalk thread with a size of over 25 pages (though I reserve the right to give some leniency). That doesn't actually necessarily mean it's popular, but it sorts out the ribble rabble and stops people screaming to add x y and z unknown sites. I also... [...]

Yes, I've seen the footer, but 25 pages doesn't mean much. Here's an example of poker site with 48 pages thread, but they never got traction and went out of business: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1000860.0So are you planning to review all kinds of gambling (including poker)? It's tricky to apply the same criteria to poker and dice sites.

Here it is. - Increased PrimeDice's Features to an A-. - Increased PrimeDice's Overall to an A+ (first gambling site to get it!) - Renamed CasinoBitco.in to BitcoinRush. - Decreased BitcoinRush's Trustworthiness to an A due to a bit of riff-raff regarding the advertising of house edge on one of their games. - Unable to accurately review AnoniBet for now due to a country block. - Fixed Betcoin Network link. -> https://goo.gl/pFz97Y- Increased FortuneJack's Trustworthiness to an A- due to age. I will be further reviewing their other scores and it's likely they will move up to A- overall. - Fixed all page lengths. Please point out anything I haven't yet done, or anything broken. There are further reviews to be made as I do not feel the list is wholly accurate yet. It is still a tiny bit old.

New update (therefore a double post as it's a bit significant): - Added gambling website Crypto-Games. - Stats: - Trustworthiness: A- - Reliability: A - Promotions: A- - Features: A+ - Overall: A Long review: Crypto-Games is essentially a casino with a wide variety of games.
I'll admit, I have a bit of a soft spot for level systems with military ranks in them. I hope you'll agree with me largely here though that they deserve the A+ for features as this was a close call. Full disclosure, too, I'll likely be taking a signature ad with them tomorrow and while looking at them I noticed they had a thread with >25 pages. I've tried to avoid bias. I'm also making a move to make the long reviews for websites much more substantial as I think some of them were quite rushed, as you can see. I will be working through and bringing them up to the level of this one throughout next week. Thanks!

As someone who's played on all of these sites and more, my meta review
PrimeDice = Fair Review 777Coin = Fair Review BitcoinRush = Trust should be dropped even further. See bitcoinrush.com for example LuckyBit = Underrated, they should be increased in trust Crypto-Games = wtf? Did you see how they handled the +EV betting? They should be D- at best DirectBet = The site sucks, I would lower their site rating considerably. But seems like a fair review PocketRocketsCasino = Trust should be dropped much more, can't think of a bigger liar NitrogenSports = Fair Review AnoniBet = Fair Review bustabit = Fair Review FortuneJack = Trust should be dropped further, after their stats faking SatoshiDice = Fair Review, although they should just get a F for all fields.

Will investigate all of these. LuckyBit will stay on an A for trustworthiness for the time being. I should note that's still very good, they definitely aren't lacking in that area - I just don't feel they rub necks with PrimeDice and 777Coin in that regard.

Okay, I definitely agree with you on BitcoinRush. That's not something that should ever be done and it's definitely dirty. However, I feel in all other areas they are still trustworthy and they did reply to him, so I will only be dropping their trustworthiness by one fine grade, and that was 3 months ago. I'll review the overall in a few days.
I read up on the Crypto-Games issue a bit and I'm currently getting CG's side of the story from one of their staff. Their rating will remain as-is for now. Edit: After discussing how they handled it, compensation given to investors to fix lost profit, etc, I am satisfied with the way they handled it. Trustworthiness remains the same IMHO, they handled it well, even if they appeared publicly to be a bit harsh.
PRC...well yes, Dean was trash previously. I feel like he's gotten his act together recently though. Trustworthiness for PRC is still only at a B+ and it will remain there, I have no plans to increase or decrease it.
I need a source for the FortuneJack stats faking, please.

No idea what you base this on. PRC is the most trusted Bitcoin dice site and that's a fact. No other site looks after as many Bitcoin of players/investors as PRC does and there's never been any issues with cashouts or losses.

If I had to rate you as you are right now you'd probably get an A for trustworthiness. The reason you're a B+ is because I don't agree with what you did in the past (mostly regarding your dealings with BAC). That was shitty. @ETTKS: Found the bitcointalk posts for FJ's stats faking and I just don't feel like any damage was done there. It's not significant enough to me to warrant a change in the trust level.

Hi @DiamondCardz - Nice reviews. Could you please add just-dice review?
Thread title says "Bitcoin Gambling Websites" and last I checked just-dice ran on CLAM, they wouldn't fit in the overview, would they?

Hi @DiamondCardz - Nice reviews. Could you please add just-dice review?
No can do, sorry bud. It's been suggested many times, but as Just-Dice is now an altcoin gambling website that uses CLAM as their currency of choice, and this is an overview for Bitcoin gambling websites in a non-altcoin section, I won't be adding Just-Dice to the list. Sorry.

Makes zero sense and makes the rest of your list have less credibility IMO.

Dooglus too. b) You are getting on my nerves with how persistent you are because of a B+ for trustworthiness. There is a difference between defending yourself and putting forward a solid argument and trying to discredit my entire list to get your rating bumped. You have done this before and we talked and I eventually upped your ratings as I had seen both sides of the argument and agreed with you. You should've taken notes.

Question:
How would you rate i.e. a simple (yet popular) dice site which intentionally try to keep things fair and simple and doesn't do any promotions and keep only necessary features (say something like Just-Dice back when they operated in BTC).
How would it score in 'promotions' and 'features' categories? Would you rate it as D-? Or 'N/A'?
The overview looks too green imo. Some could say it's great that all the sites have high score, but if every of them has an 'A', that doesn't do the trick. Maybe, in future, you should consider switching to '1-10' scale, perhaps add more categories etc. Just my thought.

If they don't do any promotions at all they'd probably get a bad rating, yes. That's only fair. If their attraction was that that they are simple, they wouldn't be terribly scored on features, but it still wouldn't be a high score. I'd leave a note in the review. It is quite green, yes. That's the problem, as I'm restricting it to popular sites they're generally all good. Also, if I start making it more relative and giving good sites Cs and Bs, I get a lot of angry PMs calling me a shill from people who see that at the time I may have x or y gambling site ad or be a mod on x or y gambling site (I'm not a mod on any gambling site anymore but I was when I made this thread, and I do sometimes have gambling site signature ads). And in all fairness, they are good sites.

Made some changes so that it is easier to distinguish between the quality of the sites in the overview. Pink colour indicates that this website is one of the best in its field for the stated criteria. It's a coveted prize for only the best sites! In addition, A- now has a slightly darker, pale green to help you distinguish between those sites with mainly A-s and those sites with mainly As and A+s. I may decide to implement an A* (read A-star) grade in the future so that I can create a more accurate scale of grades and differences between the sites. In my opinion, this change makes the overview much higher in quality. Any opinions are appreciated

I'm not sure how you could have read the thread and come to that conclusion. They were shown clearly the exploit, multiple third parties reproduced and started exploited it. And their reaction was to mock the idea of their code having an exploit. They then put a fix in place which didn't fix the issue, but only the UI and then continued to trash talk and brag about how the controversy will help their site. PRC...well yes, Dean was trash previously. I feel like he's gotten his act together recently though. Trustworthiness for PRC is still only at a B+ and it will remain there, I have no plans to increase or decrease it.
I disagree, he's corrosive and full of shit as ever I need a source for the FortuneJack stats faking, please.

They then put a fix in place which didn't fix the issue, but only the UI and then continued to trash talk and brag about how the controversy will help their site. I talked to them and they agreed and acknowledged that their reaction was bad and that the situation was handled badly. However, I also found out that investors were compensated so that they did not lose any BTC due to the exploits. I feel that it was still fairly handled. PRC...well yes, Dean was trash previously. I feel like he's gotten his act together recently though. Trustworthiness for PRC is still only at a B+ and it will remain there, I have no plans to increase or decrease it.
I disagree, he's corrosive and full of shit as ever Well, he does annoy me a lot with his constant bickering about his rating on this thread, but there is still a lot of money entrusted to PRC which they haven't run with. I found the stats faking info eventually, thanks though. I don't feel like there was that much of an issue there, they are pretty spot on with everything else other than that which didn't really harm bettors or investors themselves.

In the A- Overall band I have focused on spitting it into two bands, one that keeps the A- Overall rating and one that has a B+ Overall rating. I should note that this is simply to show a fine level of extra distinction, and that B+ is still a very respectable grade. Further distinctions will soon be made as I plan to expand into the B band to provide a wider gradient, followed by likely moving into the B- band. C+ and below will probably be reserved for websites that you should not really gamble on, but can if you wish to, while D+ and below is for those which are just terrible. Anything that is B- or above is what I would consider a good-quality gambling site. I also will likely be moving forward with plans to produce the A* (A-star) band to show further distinction for those sites which are the best of the best in certain areas.
If you are angry that you have been moved down into B+, then I would just sit tight as I will soon be creating a finer gradient for all sites, and it is likely all sites in the list will feel the burn a tiny bit as I seek to create a list with sites that range mostly from B/B- to A+ or even A*.
Some fine ratings other than overalls were changed due to overvaluation or my own personal experiences (e.g. I dropped the reliability for Cloudbet by a fine grade due to some pretty crap experiences with trying to withdraw causing errors and support giving me a reply that didn't even apply to me). I hope this list is seen as more accurate, but I'm quite limited here with such a small range of grades at the moment and inevitably some people will be upset.
Anonibet is something I plan to do a more accurate review for later, but I have to use Tor to do this due to my IP's geolocation being blocked.
I also increased bustabit's Trustworthiness to an A and moved them up a bit in the list, they deserve it by now.

Betterbets.io is the largest casino to open in 2015 DC how did you miss it lol?
Shit, you're right. It's not that I missed it, it's that I usually only add sites if either a) I come into contact with them and I realize they're not added b) Someone tells me to add them! So thanks for reminding me I'll add them later today, probably within the hour. Edit: Why did you delete your post? Looks like I've triple-posted now. Edit2: An update. - Added gambling website BetterBets. - Stats: - Trustworthiness: A - Reliability: A - Promotions: A+ - Features: A- - Overall: A Long review: BetterBets has, for a relatively new casino established in May 2015, experienced an insane amount of growth and it's quite clear why. Edit3: A 2nd update. - Increased 777Coin's Promotions to an A+. - Increased 777Coin's Overall to an A+. - Increased FortuneJack's Reliability from B+ to A. - Increased FortuneJack's Promotions to an A. - Increased FortuneJack's Features to an A. - Increased FortuneJack's Overall to an A. - Reviewed FortuneJack's Trustworthiness of an A-, but decided to keep it there due to previous issues. - Updated FortuneJack's long review. - Updated 777Coin's long review.

Hey all, I made a poll to see whether the best option for the thread to help further create a gradient between websites is to create a new A* grade above A+, leave it be, or lower all websites by a fine grade and then re-adjust accordingly. I would prefer creating an A* grade as it means I don't have to give sites which don't deserve them low grades just to help differentiate between sites, but I'd like to see your opinions. http://strawpoll.me/5965274I'll check the strawpoll in 24 hours.

I voted for "Instead of this, lower all site's grades a fine grade to help make a better gradient". However I would prefer it if you used a more logical system. For example using doubles which go from 1 to 10 (with 1 being the worst and 10 being the best) as it's way more clear.

I voted for "Instead of this, lower all site's grades a fine grade to help make a better gradient" even though I would prefer it if you switched to a system like 1 to 10 (with 1 being the worst and 10 being the best) as it's way more clear (and you can use decimals to make stuff more clear, 9.1 is not the same as 9.8).
The only problem with that is that the moment I rate something a 6 or below for something people quite quickly connotate that with a bad site and I get a lot of angsty messages saying that I am a bad reviewer, biased, hell I've had plenty of casinos themselves be annoyed at me ;) But, keeping to a letter based system of, say, B (5), B+ (6), A- (7), A (8), A+ (9), A* (10)...I can get away with giving out B+s and A-s a lot easier than giving out 6s and 7s ;) Yeah, I do like the idea of lowering all site's grades a fine grade as well, though I probably need to do it more than that in reality. Once there are multiple sites being rated B- and B and even a couple Cs for the bad apples, then I won't get as many angsty messages due to this except from the diehard trolls. A B+ in a sea of A-band ratings is usually a problem. Edit: disabled smilies due to 8)

Okay, based on the straw poll it would seem to me like most people were in favour of lowering all website fine grades by one, so that's what I've done. I will re-adjust them later today or tomorrow to make them more accurate and have a wider gradient. I'll also likely implement the A* grade soon. Thank you for reviewing our site we will work on features and take your evaluation as a means to make improvements, good fortune to you!
Thanks!

On second thought I've decided all grades will stay the same for now, and I will review them some time next week all at once. It's unfair to review half and then not review the other half just because of time constraints (besides, I do have to maintain ShitDice ).

None of them? Other than maybe temporary delays due to empty hot wallets. But that's industry standard. @OP - PocketRocketsCasino rebranded to BetKing.io some time ago.
