I've a question about the edge:

What is the house edge ?
The house edge is currently set on 1%.
It doesn't mean we take off the 1% when you win or when you cashout.
The house edge is built into the payouts. If you play on 50% chance, your shall expect a profit of x1.98.

Does it mean that investors have no edge at all?
Since it's on the payout and not the winning chances it kinda looks so -that is, is the edge just for the house?.
And if so, why should one invest?

The house edge benefit to the investors. Let's take an example !
I'm betting 2 XMR, on a 50% chance, if I win, my payout is ((1.98 x 2) - 2) = 1.96.
If I lost, I'm losing 2 XMR.

On winning, the site taking 1.96 XMR to the investors to give them to the player.
On losing, the site will share the 2 XMR to the investors.

As you can see, the difference between win/lose is about 0.04 XMR on that example, on the short term, it's nothing. But on the long term, it's making the investors winning, and avoid any bankrupt.

The 1% aren't going to me, or into the site bank, but it's going to the investors.

If you go check the 'Stats' board, you can watch the all-time profit progression. All the profit is going to the investors.

Hey lads,

we got some big players on both Monero and Ripple, and because of the high leverage average, they were able to bet high.
Unfortunately for most investors: they won.

I'm glad to see some big players coming on CCD through.

My feeling is that the leverage average is a bit too high, so the site profit is very volatile.

The leverage is increasing your investment, by x2, x10, until x100. But also increase your risk. Because of the leverage, the max profit is going up too.
If the max profit is high, players can bet higher.

By betting higher, you can earn a lot when they lose, but you lost a lot when they win.
On the Monero case, we got 2 big winners. If the leverage average was lower, they couldn't bet so high, allowing them to win less, or maybe, to bust because of that limit.
On the other side, if they lost, it's jackpot for you. That wasn't the case.

Investors need to be careful with leverage, if you don't understand fully that system, you'll find an example on the 'Help' section. I can also answer your questions here.

Investors and the site can lose money from the referral program only if peoples are cheating it.

The cheat is easy: you refer yourself, play and get back 10% of your losses. Even with a lot of protections some peoples were able to bypass them, the solution isn't so easy because you need to guess who is who.

When a referred player lose, 10% are going to the referrer, and 90% to the investors. To fill the missing 10% for investors, the site increase the commission fee limit by those 10%. So you're commission free on any ref bet.

The issue with people cheating the system is that they have a lot more chance to win because they are able to get back 10% of their losses, making them winning more than they lose.

If a player have more chance to win, the investors have more chance to lose.

The current system isn't viable, I have to rework it entirely.
