Okay, the other 50k has been sent in 2 transactions Thank you. I will now update the spreadsheet to include your donations Ok , I can donate the 20k in my wallet or donate my gridseed to mine for the donations wallet and then donate 10% more from my fury to go with the gridseeds proceeds . take your pick and pm me a address . It is truly your call. I appreciate the enthusiasm. I would like to say the gridseed but that would create an administrative nightmare with all of the updates since I am being as transparent as possible with the donations. Well , I can set up a wallet for the gridseed to mine to then donate from there . I just wanna see the coin take off . That could work. Is there any specific cause that you would like to see the coins go towards? The address is BcVNG5kSGEt3Kid7qQC5ki6dJmhaiDWWK7 I just like the name of the coin , I think we need a coin to do great like btc did , I'm not to fond of the x11 13 and 15 coins . I think I like the scrypt coin better than sha256 and the others , but sha256 is my 2nd to best . And to see a coin get revived would be totally awesome . give me a few and ill go get it set up on my desktop .

Guys remember not to post address's in the main thread , they used to get funny about that!
Should I remove it? Yes remove it and then pm it to me so I will have it till I get another wallet downloaded and it put in the addresses for sending .

Ok , I got it going on my desktop right after I sent you that message . I will send the proceeds from that wallet and donate some extra from my other on my laptop . I'll try to donate 20% of the earning from my fury on top of the gridseed and if thats not enough I'll try to do more up to 50% till we get this coin going . Sound fair enough ?

I can only find people that will work for bitcoin and will only do specific tasks. Nobody that is willing to take the coin over I think that our community needs growth. For that, we need to advertise outside of Bitcoin Talk. Any recommendations? We could try to raise some bitcoin to buy some ad space from sites like coinurl

At this stage I wouldn't recommend any adertising that is going to cost people money as there is a risk they won't get it back. I'm going to look at block explorers this weekend and see if my and my friend can come up with one. The more we can set in place the more attractive it's going to look

I haven't mined in ages and divested most of my cards to my kids computers, but I think I'll try to start up mining this once more when I get home from work.

you can get small scrypt miners for about £30 from ebay, they ofer about 1.2-1.4 mhs and only run at 40 watts Much better than any card

Hi everybody.
Trying to relaunch a coin is a good idea. So, I decided to move one of my r290x rigs from DRK to ICOIN, just for fun on solo mining.
It will probably take ages before any ROI at this stage but if it help, I will be happy to participate by donating small chunks of what I get.
I just want to raise some questions : - is ICOIN the right ticker ? - is the block reward 50 instead of 100 ? - is it normal to have only 2 network connexions ?
I agree those are noobs questions but I want to avoid mining the wrong coin otherwise my donations would be worthless.
Anyway, BRAVO for your job.

Hi Jofo, You are correct ROI might not even happen, but thanks very much for pointing your rigs at iCoin I have my small miners solo mining at the moment. ICN is the ticker we used in the past. The block reward is 50 as block halfing happened a while a go. 2 connections is normal at the moment, once we gain momentum, that will hopefully change.
