I know this is my first post on the forums, but its actually not. I had an account that was compromised in 2014 apparently, so i had to create a new one as i was unable to restore my old one, my previous handle was nrhs05.

I was a bit of a holder of iCoin about 3 and a half years ago, i think i had 35,902.93 ICN (Address BZ6KhVyRa4qsZVmEVbDeDBwCAkpD8j1oR6), i traced a lot of it being sent out of Poloniex back in the day to my wallet... i have since lost the wallet as i didn't understand how to properly secure wallets, private keys and such back in the day however i have looked into it and i do now. I did have a backup of my wallet.dat but was lost because my kids thought it was a good idea to take the device it was on and lose it lol, also my computer lost my wallet when i upgraded to Windows 10, and recover efforts were for naught!

At one point was even scammed out of 0.1495 BTC on that ICO the coin had years ago at the time, TX was here 38a622825dd2aa93c2d4517f84e887f4e26169d3a00d98ee627f5bed7a353438, emailed the BTC to some "Pina Com", their gmail was pinacomm.  I am not sure if that was a real person/account, or just the original Dev taking my BTC lol.

Either way, it is what it is and i just wanted to come back and see how things were going!

I see a few people are still picking away at some of the features?

Also, i tried to mine but my 250,000 H/s was not enough to even come close to finding a block so i could not get any more coin Sad lol.

Network hash right now is at 450 MH/s and most new cards only do a few MH/s, so probably not unfortunately as there are no running pools that i am aware of. Its a Scrypt coin so there are specialized units for it.

https://yobit.net/en/trade/ICN/BTC#7D

200 sat area broken, only 120k coins or 0.35 BTC worth left below 300 sat. Marketcap only 70 BTC this could be a fast and easy 10x.

Yeah never had problems with yobit, lately it's a bit slow as I imagine is every exchange now when the crypto boom is bringing in thousands of new users every day.

Hi everybody.

I'm following ICN since ages and hope this coin will make me a zillionaire...  Wink

Sometimes I feeel as bots are starting to trade it (could be a good or not indication) but I'm not that sure.

Anyway, I think that a lack of roadmap and communication (who is still the owner of the twitter account ?, which website ?) will not help ICN to rise up.

Hope this year will bring us a better view and good results.

Hi jofo,,

I fully agree with you and trust me I'm working within every minute of my free time.
There are new Twitter/Facebook/GitHub accounts created by me and also the domain icoinproject.com is ready for deployment.

Yeah, anytime i have heard people have issues its usually not BTC related, i just deposited a small fraction of my BTC on there to test it out, and it confirmed after 2 confirmations and is in my account.

I scanned pc's, external drives, flash drives, etc, to try and recover my wallet with the 35,000 ICN but no luck Sad, those coins will be lost forever!

Any estimate what the actual float is? According to CoinMarketCap the supply is almost 30 million coins, but as iCoin is such an old coin that it was almost worthless at some point after the original dev team left, I suspect many people simply lost their wallets and a huge number of coins is now forever lost.

Right now it's still quite feasible to accumulate a 50k to 100k coin stash with a little effort, but the supply is drying up slowly but surely. I'd imagine soon 100k coins will make someone a whale.

Btw, nice trend on the 30 day chart:

Hi,
looking at ChainInfo I expect the current max. float about 12 - 15 milion iCoins.

I indeed did loose my 35k coins, and i am still looking for them to this day, as its probably on some obscure flash drive, probably underneath a pile of laundry or dresser in one of the kids rooms lol.

i have 3 flash drives that they might be on, that i cannot find. i found about 8 of the ones i knew of but they were not on any of those. My luck they lost it at school.

Looks like there's only one seller in yobit, ending up selling his stash for 2 BTC total or w/e. Anyone who's been around long enough to have a large stash of iCoin should aim a bit higher don't you think?  Kiss
