I'm not seeing any difference from enabling it, apart from some slightly more advanced options in the send page. Nothing relating to staking at all.

Yep. After I first installed the wallet and got some coins through mining (back in the POW phase), it worked fine for a while, but since then, it continually displays my staked amount as zero coins, even though I'm keeping my wallet open and the only transaction I've performed (about 16 hours ago, and I was already having the issue before this) was that 100 PEN donation to the blockchain explorer. I do have my wallet unlocked, and I've tried restarting both my PC as a whole and just the Pencoin wallet. I also notice sometimes the wallet gets out of sync with the network, and won't get back in sync until I restart the wallet app, even if everything else internet-wise is working fine on my PC. There hasn't been an update to the software or anything that I've missed, has there? (I'm using the Windows wallet, if that matters.)

Very strange, i'm receiving a lot of POS blocks; but my wallet is already open from day one, nonestop.

Tell Bittrex to add $PEN next...

If they ask people , then why not show how big the community is and answer Bittrex Wink

I don't have the accounts that they seem to be using (unless there's somewhere on Bittrex itself), but yeah, it'd be nice to see PEN on a reputable exchange. No offence, but BtcPool looks very dodgy...

Its not dodgy, just doesnt have the userbase and desired volume yet. Theyre still growing. They listed PEN because I asked them too. So we need to be grateful for them to doing so.

I was meaning more the layout and functionality of the site. eg: the random quote splash page, the "stay logged in" box not working (as in, I can't even click it), the generic texts in some parts (Lorem Ipsum type text on the registration page, anyone?), the fact that after you register it says "click here to confirm your email" instead of, y'kno, sending you an email with the link.

Of course, that could just as easily be a slack but well-intentioned admin, but... yeah. We'll see though; I mean, there's plenty of very professional-looking sites out there that are dodgy as hell. But yeah; at the moment it just kinda gives me a bad vibe. At any rate, until there's another exchange or that one proves itself a bit more, that gives me plenty of times to stake my pencoins... well, if you ignore that they don't seem to be staking. xD Still haven't quite gotten to the bottom of that... on that note, I remember you posted a link about staking it in the wallet trollbox; my trollbox cleared itself before I could view that link, so any chance you could send me it again or post it here?

Hi Guys
ok yes there have been a few issues with layout / random TEXT on the site. These have been fixed / removed.
I'm very happy to take any advice and pass it on to our DEV and if its good advice we  can make changes.
I know they want to work  with everyone so the the exchange  is as good as it can be.

In this wallet, just becasue it says N/A doesn't mean you didn't receive the reward. Go to your "trasactions" tab, hover over the mined transaction..if it says 130 or however confirmations, then you received the reward, if it says "generated but not accepted" when you hover over the transaction, then you did not receive the reward. I've gotten about 3 stale rewards out of about 19...seems about right compared to my other staking coins.

Well, I am keeping an eye on it in case it does show promise. I'll let you know if I notice anything that I think could be improved. One thing I'm already noticing - when I first go to the site, it has a message saying I'm not logged in, yet the "Log Out" button shows in the top-right instead of the Log In one.

One thing I'd love to see (though this might just be me) - you already accept AU$, so how much difficulty would it be to also accept NZ$, since restrictions between the two countries are generally fairly light? Not that I'm saying it should be your primary focus (cryptos come first on these kinda sites), but it'd be a nice thing to think about in the long run.

Every exchange need to grow. Do you know how Mintpal went big? They added some coins and did a few pumps theirself, generated the necessary volume, and that forced people to use Mintpal. Ok, what happened after that is a different story. But running a exchange is good. But exchange holders can also help a little with attracting big pump groups to generate the necessary volume.

Bittrex started also from nothing...

I highly doubt it is dead...there was 10 GH/s to 20 GH/s of mining power in the pools for the 6 days of POW. There's no action either because A. There just simply isn't enough volume or trust on the "newer" exchange we're on to make anything happen, or  B. people truly believe in this coin and are just not willing to sell them 'till everything shakes out in the wash and they can determine the true value of this coin (which I'll assume they believe is going to be a LOT higher than a thousand satoshi)

My personally point:

1. There was really big hashrates, even i was surprised that it hit a high of 33 GH/s and had a long time highs above 15 GH/s

2. The exchange is a issue or not really. Everybody is always waiting for Bittrex. In fact i'm also waiting for Bittrex, but i was not planning to sell any of my coins at too low prices.

3. DEV is active, he even display a few pictures of the primary binary option work.

4. I believe the new exchange needs to promote their exchange, as before PEN i have never heard of it. Promote it by, no fees or even a negative fee. Really trying to get the big guys on board. Invest first and take the rewards later.

OK i understand what you mean i will suggest that they remove the fees and see how it goes,  But they will need to make something at some point. LOL
As for advertising the exchange i know they have a big twitter campaign about to start

Of course they need. But think of it.

Saying, everybody that trade for 1 BTC will receive 0.01 - 0.02 BTC from the exchange. Maybe using Exchange shares or so ,that allow people to receive some profit of the exchange in a later stage.

For example trading 1 BTC will give you 1 exchange SHARE. Profit will be split over the amount of shares....

A minor issue with the wallet: Whenever you open the Options dialog box, the Trollbox clears itself when you close it again (unless you click "Cancel").
