./bbqcoind: error while loading shared libraries: libboost_system.so.1.46.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

You've upgraded (or removed) libraries since bbqcoind was compiled.

Drives me crazy when a routine version nudge of openssl suddenly causes all of my coin daemons to break on restart...

You may be able to fudge together a symlink but the best solution is to recompile the daemon.

Can you compile one, I won't compile

What OS are you using? Some flavour of Linux, I presume? There are several tutorials on how to compile (for example) Litecoin under Linux.

Is the network moving? Last block I see is from more than 2 weeks ago, but my client was also sluggish, so maybe something was amiss.

I've restarted it but it's finding no peers. Any addnodes?

Edit: did some tricks to find peers. Now resyncing from a slightly older backup in case I was forked.

# coin: bbqcoin
addnode=185.25.60.199
addnode=82.200.205.30
addnode=188.186.96.174

Edit 2: Nope, stopped syncing again.

Can anyone tell me the current height of the network, and that block's hash?

Some weird things happening with BQC...

There seems to be only the one peer 188.186.96.174 holding the network together, even though I'm running two servers which accept inbound connections.

and

Someone is mining, but seems to be ignoring transactions in the mempool (there are currently 11 pending transactions). (edit: now 54 pending transactions)

and

Any blocks I mine (which do include those pending transactions) are quickly orphaned by another miner.

and

There have been some large time offsets in the blockchain, pushing time backwards by several minutes, for example (see timestamps) :

Yesterday, I managed to clear all pending transactions by changing some client settings, tweaking things to give bbqcoind more CPU priority, and mining with more hashrate, but I can't do that indefinitely.

Mempool was cleared to 0 transactions but it has now climbed again to 154 transactions.

Anyone else mining this?

I mine usually with some gridseed blades, and occasionally with an L3+. Unfortunately have not been able to setup a linux server to run my own private pool for an L3+ and have been relying on a high latency connection to the P2pool.

There is talk on the other thread of new updates to the wallet/code. (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5091473.msg50498099#msg50498099)

What, what? 6 months ago you couldn't figure out how to compile bbqcoind on linux, now you're a dev on github?

Can you outline the major changes you've made to the source? Is there a relaunch thread?

Yesterday, I managed to clear all pending transactions by changing some client settings, tweaking things to give bbqcoind more CPU priority, and mining with more hashrate, but I can't do that indefinitely.

Mempool was cleared to 0 transactions but it has now climbed again to 154 transactions.

Anyone else mining this?

Almighty, there is a tiny bit of BQC activity on trade.thecoin.pw.

What, what? 6 months ago you couldn't figure out how to compile bbqcoind on linux, now you're a dev on github?

Can you outline the major changes you've made to the source? Is there a relaunch thread?
Upgrade to BBQ version v0.10.4 according to LTC version v0.10.4,Also replaced the startup logo and other images
