Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

So you bought one of the three, Borito?  And someone bought all three... yep.  That sounds like some people got sssssscammed.  Sorry guys, I feel really bad for you. I should have posted something sooner, but I was trying to figure out if it was legit or not.  I don't like to accuse people without having some compelling evidence for the fact.

If you're searching these lines for a point, you've probably missed it.  There was never anything there in the first place.

Sucks loosing 210 BTC, but I'll take it as a learning experience.

I'm not saying it was a scam yet.  Gotta stay optimistic.  If I do receive the cards, I'll post back here.

When I see these kind of situations I think no offers above atleast BTC10 should be allowed to be made directly in this forum.

Any offer above that should be done via clearcoin or another alternative where both parties have some insurance.

These kind of offers just make a forum feel miff after a while.

I am not 100% sure this is the same guy that got me but it sure sounds similar. If it is the same guy he is getting a little smarter as last time he left GPS coords in his exif data. It also looks like he got a new Samsung phone, good for him.

Compare the exif data in the photos at the beginning of this topic (3 x 6990's) and the exif data in my post at http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=7862.0...not entirely a match but similar.

If this is not the same guy I welcome this one (or the one that got me) to post to either topic and refute the suspicions.

Just as a point of reference, the T959 is a Samsung Vibrant, which means he's on T-Mobile.  The T-896 is a Samsung Galaxy S I9000, which means it's any GSM phone.  However, being the developer for one of the original unlock methods for the Vibrant, I know that loading certain ROMs or changing your nv_data.bin file will give you a T-896 identifier on a Vibrant... so it's likely the same phone with a different ROM on it, or he unlocked it improperly/mucked with his nv_data.bin file.

Given all the other evidence, it's unlikely it's a different person. Quite likely it's the same kid.  So he lives in LA, uses T-Mobile as his carrier and has some GPS coordinates to his house.  Easy enough to stop by and check it out.

If you're searching these lines for a point, you've probably missed it.  There was never anything there in the first place.
