Thats what you have to ask yourself with things promising profit. Why would these HYIPs be offering you the interest when they could just take it themselves.
These cards are likely stolen and he wants to not be responsible with holding an asset which can be seized (valve can cancel the card if they find its stolen) and trading for an anonymous one way currecny.

How can I show you proof? I think I got them from a key selling site a few months ago. I bought a lot of Steam balance online because Steam doesn't accept bank transfers for filling the balance.

Will update in roughly two days so refer back to this post to verify the balance will remain constant and will not be charged back. So far so good.
