Ah, unregulated. That makes sense for an AB stereo, pretty common. You had me scared for a second there though.

So anyways uh... how 'bout them 12V supplies what for the miners and stuff?

I modded it a bit took me about 60 Minutes...

BTW, i do not care if the power supply dies or not (it will probably not, a power supply should stand more than it is rated for...) it just cost 30$....

edit, it's a cooler master, it was cheap because it was on 75% off sale......... x)

That's interesting, I haven't seen a major brand like Coolermaster sell a new sub-Bronze non-universal input PSU in awhile. That's got to be a really cheap unit.

Hehe, it was a wire mess, i was vacuum cleaning small bits of copper and plastic that was all around my room for 10 minutes

Will this be ok to use?

I mean the others i have running fine, do not use the 2 pins anyway, and as far as i can read, they arent really used by the miners, strictly a 8 pin options for psu to miner 6 pin, right?

Most miners including all of Bitmain's only use the 6-pin PCIe connectors. If there is a 2pin 'flyer' on them (2 more returns) the flyer is only for GPU's that might need the extra grounds and is not an issue.

Do NOT confuse them with full 8-pin connectors EPS you may see on a PSU. They are used for some mobo's and have 4 wires each for the positive and negative and are polarized differently!
