I'm pretty sure that Magic The Gathering has fans of all ages, it has been around for a LONG time. I missed the mining phase so I can't attest to those issues but this seems like a pretty standard coin launch to me and a little early to FUD it to death.

Yea I know who you're talking about but I don't see the connection. I made some money on the HAL pump but I'm still bagholding UTIL lol. What is his involvement here? There hasn't been nearly enough trade volume for him to have made much of an entry yet.

I don't know why you assume he makes entries in coins like this one through the market. I always thought his entries on coins like this are during PoW

In late 2006, programmer Jed McCaleb (eDonkey2000, Overnet1, Ripple) thought of building a website for users of the Magic: The Gathering Online service to let them trade cards like stocks. In January 2007, he purchased the domain name mtgox.com, short for "'Magic The Gathering Online' eXchange I think very few Bitcoiners actually knows this... it's a funfact! And really shows that there is a huge market for RPGs like this.

Kind of disappointed by the response, but thanks to our supporters.
We will take 6-8 days and get a new big rebranding and design ideas and code examples up.
There won't be much news until then.
Thanks all.

Disappointed he couldn't steal more btc from speculators.. LOL No, not at all. It's ok if everyone doesn't see the vision I do. I'm not saying im disappearing, I'm saying that we will be working on what we promised and present more in around a week or so.
We just hired a couple more artists and a proper chinese translator for when we present the whole idea in a professional and polished manner.
We should have waited a bit longer to launch, until more of the work was completed, it was a mistake. Yes we were renting but we didn't expect these huge hashrates (225gh at times) that would set a high-ish price on launch. It's hard to find 20 GH to rent, all the extra hash was multipools.
We will be working, and buying coins. Release target is around a week.

I think what MysteryCoin is aiming to be used for is a great idea, a lot of other people worldwide in the crypto scene would think so too, all it needs is for everything to come into place plus commitment and it can be achieved & used as intended.

The concept really has potential to be a huge mainstream hit outside of the crypto community.
