Bitcoin is still not that expensive.. You can still buy if you want .. ~ $250 bitstamp. Don't regret even more later.
That just went up! Time to get more depressed to not buy at 250$

That just went up! Time to get more depressed to not buy at 250$ That is super expensive to someone that could have brought in for dollars or less :/ The best a lot of investors are going to get is their money back as it owes the 6-700+ then another group will get double their money and maybe 4 x their investment but if you got in earlier you could have had 100's of x

You can regret it as I do too but still dwelling on isn't productive at all. Some would say you're still an early adopter but don't invest anything you're not willing to lose.

No need to feel regret and depression at the moment. We're on our way up again boys! Just a matter of time before we're at pre Gox levels.

If you sit there and live in regret of course your going to be depressed. Don't live in the past, learn from the past and move on to something new. You also could have won the lottery, invented something, made a game that made millions, made anything in the world but you didn't. Don't sit around and feel bad for yourself, get out there and actually try to do something about it if you want money that bad. Nothing in this life is going to be handed to you for free, work for it, and work your ass off and you will get where you need to be.

Don't spend your time regretting and spend it finding the next best thing, a lot of people don't think the early investor ship has sailed for Bitcoin yet!
We are still the early adopters of cryptocurrency. So there is no need to regret.

We are still the early adopters of cryptocurrency. So there is no need to regret. Early adopters era is long time gone. I guess early adopters were people who buy/earn/mine bitcoin under the price of $100.

While it's pretty agreed upon in BTC land that smaller denominations (e.g. "mBTC") will be referred to more often than BTC, I wonder if the word "bitcoin" will be used more often as the name of the currency (e.g. "cocaine") or as the name of the denomination (i.e. "kilo").

Some people seem confident that the price of Bitcoin will go up to $10k+ and anything below $1k is a deal. I don't see it. Bitcoin may be deflationary but it's not the only system in place. Unless a large part of the population of the world were forced to used Bitcoin could this happen. And altcoins essentially are deflating the market.

A bird in hand is worth twice in a bush. There is no point in regretting about something one did do or dint think about earlier but there will be more chances in future. Bitcoins are worth more now and investing these bitcoins in a legal website or trade will be a wise option.

If you consider the potential that the price might one day be going up further than what it is today, then by all means it's still not too late. Obviously spending time regretting and getting depressed won't do anything to help. It still goes back to you on how you want change it.

Alt coins really aren't deflating the market. They only seems to be used on this forum as you can't really spend 99.9% of them anywhere or on anything useful. As for the price it is pure speculation but 1k is of course achievable as it was already there at one point and I think 10k is also possible but we would need a lot of merchant adoption or certain markets or industries to accept or deal in bitcoin but I think we will need to wait several years for that but it is certainly possible. People just don't think it will happen because bitcoin has been so slow moving the past year or so but I'm hoping it will pick up.

Shouldn't live that way. Regret and depression is terrible thing to have to go through. Nothing, and I mean nothing should make you feel that way for a prolonged period. Not terrible life decision, not missing the boat on Bitcoin, we're all human, gotta live and learn and motor through...

This is very true i can only imagine how easy life would be right now if i did but the thing is life is not meant to be easy and gain riches easy, it would destroy the little good we have in this life the struggle it is good for the soul. Cheer up OP it is only a computer program and it is not worth crying over

I have many things that depress me, but missing the BTC boat is not one of them. I missed it, did not have the money to invest at the time and when I did it rose to 1000 so missed that. Still, bitcoin brings me joy, for the idea of it and the community around it. My bitcoin balance is growing steady, it is something that has a future and I am prepared. And if the boat sinks, I know how to swim
