You mean an avatar? Those were disabled following the big hack which happened in 2013 hence why only the older accounts have them. They might become available again when/if theymos upgrades the forum software. |

The avatars were disabled due to forum security reasons(SMF forums have this issue). There is a new forum software in development which will get released within a few months. That will allow you to have avatars. |

Avatar has been disabled since as far as I know because they were used for an exploit used to hack the Bitcointalk forums . They will be available once again tho , once the new forum software is finished by the developpers (It should be very soon , last time the developer told me that Beta is very soon , maybe this month who knows . ) ~ Madness |

It will be available very soon as the developer said (Beta release won't be implentend on these forums, it will be on a new server ) As for the beta launch, it's coming! The date was self imposed and code wise we're there already. We are just working out the kinks in getting it up on a public server. So sit tight. It should be here soon.

I wonder what will come first, the new forum or the new PD signature campaign. My bet is on the new forum
While I do think it is cool to have an avatar, I think reenabling them will pose somewhat of a "scam risk" as the use of avatars will make it easier to impersonate other members (yes I know that people are responsible for themselves and should pay close attention) |
