Third time's the charm? Perhaps after recovering from this dump (which is not impossible, given that we recovered from the dump from 9.5 to 7.3) we will finally break $10.
What do you think? This month, or is 9.49 the 2012 high?

I'd make a bet any time that $9.49 will not be the 2012 high. However, I don't know when we hit $10. It's healthy that there was a dump and a correction, the rally was on overdrive. It would be nice if we could just stay around $8 for a while and have some time to think about the situation. Then after that I think $10 can be broken. With quick rallies everything is difficult because there is no time to think. Now I hope there is some time to think and people can make a better decision on what bitcoins are worth.

Pirate, or someone, is trying desperately to control the price... but isn't. A good analogy here is suppressing forest fires and letting the fuel in the forest build up. For a while this can work very well. No forest fires, but sooner or later there will be an out of control mega blaze far larger and hotter than any of the fires that were suppressed. |

When it hits 9 there is a COMEX style smackdown but underlying pressure is there to bring it back up again. |
