plasma1010 Btc-e, Bitstamp and Bitfinex is all big exchanges and should be good choises, they have been around a long time and most likely will be around for a very long time in the future to. just check there fees and choose the one that has the best conditions for the option your going to use.

Just because he didn't gox everyone yet doesn't mean he won't, he doesn't have much lose if he's some anonymous guy from Russia or Bulgaria etc...
