Who are we?
Coins-e.com is a commodities exchange platform on the block chain. Based in Toronto, Canada, we bring a collective 30 years of experience in software development, security and management.

What's new?
Coin profiles. We are an information base for crypto-currency assets, providing a compendium of the most recent and accurate information on your favorite coins at coins-e.com/coins.

Advanced trading engine. Our proprietary matching algorithms make our order book smart, our entire system scalable and let users execute trades within a fraction of a second.

Security. We secure our customer funds using elastic offline storage distributed on multiple wallets with 90% of funds secured in an offline vault and 10% in an encrypted hot wallet for trading. We are in the process of implementing multi-sig for added security.

Customer Service. We have recently added support staff committed to providing you responsive, honest and objective help and feedback to any issues, questions or input you may have. We encourage you to seek support by submitting a request at our coins-e.com/support page or by emailing us at sal@coins-e.com or via twitter. We are also available most of the time in the chat box at the bottom right when visiting our site. Let us know!

API Friendly. We have created an easy API that provides full control over your wallet. All of the functionality that you find in our website will be made available via the API. We support all of the major features, allowing you to trade, deposit and do withdraws.

What’s Next?
Community building. We are soon to launch new features to encourage community building, information sharing and learning in the context of crypto-commodities.

Commodities exchange. A new innovation we are developing will allow real world items to be represented as commodities on the block chain. We see the block chain as a technology that will ultimately replace big stock exchanges by opening up share issuing and trading to any business in any stage of its development.

Looks great, but you really shouldn't go around stealing people's coins.

I'm talking about 2 days ago while trying to transfer some altcoins to a private wallet and you held it up with an email saying you didn't like my email address.

Talk to Sal.  When I asked what he meant and offered another email to try, my account immediately was deleted and no replies from Sal or anyone at Coins-e.

You really should prioritize keeping your customers happy instead of a pretty website.

ps I told you there would be some publicity over this, but you didn't seem to care.  Game on.

BTC are not sent to the address! Tickets are not responsible! You are one of the oldest stock exchanges, and you decide to lose confidence and become crooks, it's very silly, given that competitors are closing one after the other ...

Luckily for me they are supposedly a Canadian company so I can pursue them quite easily legal wise as I am Canadian too. I will be filing reports with the proper authorities soon if I do not receive my coins.

I do hope that they have temporary difficulties and soon all is normalized. Now much more profitable to continue to work with a good reputation as one of the oldest stock exchanges than to escape with coins users.

They have very very slow support.. Waiting for week to resolve a problem is normal here.

2 mounth ago had same problem, btc and ltc withdraw were stucked, waited an asnwer for a week and got answer that dev is busy, i recived coins finnaly but realy lost a wish to continue trade there.

They are old exchange.. and didn't scam anybody so far but any problem with withdraw or wallets can continue for ages.

19 days no output BTC. Support replied on the 10th day, wrote that the hot empty purse and communicate with the director to replenish it. It seems that the director of the scammer and disappeared with coins, since support is no longer responding. Be careful !!! Exchange - crooks, do not enter the coin!
