It is illegal to mine bitcoins here. And it is pain that all population asks fiat money as that little girl. It is difficult to explain bitcoin advantages for them.
Even if you find one other man with bitcoin barcode tatoo (as in 6:06) you still want to kill him.

I want to know more.

1) It is written in law - Ruble (fiat currency) is the only legal mean of exchange. Coinage of another currencies is prohibited.
2) There is special law about electronic money. It allows only money which are issued by some centralized authority. This way that law ties electronic money to fiat money.

Mining is coinage of alternative international currency.
And bitcoin doesn't fit to electronic money law because it doesn't have an organization responsible for emission.
This is why it is prohibited in the territory of Russia.

And we have antiterror laws which can be used against any unauthorised activity.

And we have court system, which judge 98% of cases to jailing decision (The rest of 2% is exceptions for the members of bureaucracy strata). So if you get to court you will be jailed for sure.

The only reason, why bitcoins are used in Russia - is ignorance of laws.
"If you are not catched - you are not a criminal"

That is why I am asking for i2p version of bitcoin.

So don't mine in Russia. Join a mining pool from outside Russia. Any Bitcoin created will be awarded to the pool. You can use a Bitcoin address at MtGox which is in Japan to send the Bitcoin mining share or just have it sent to a brainwallet address which exists nowhere except your thoughts. If you want to make money to pay your bills, then have the Bitcoin converted to local currency and sent to your bank. Taxes may apply.

Any significantly advanced cryptocurrency is indistinguishable from Ponzi Tulips.

How can bitcoin be money if it is uncentrialized?

Thats valid for storing value.

But what if you want to do something? Any major activity should be protected with agreements under legal system. The law states that these agreements should be nominated in Rubles (fiat currency).
It is inefficient to do business when there is no way to enforce contracts legally. One need to feed his own security company. And this renders most startups unprofitable.

Bitcoin should be illegal in most countries of the world.

I don't think Russian laws are much different from laws elsewhere.

I was gonna insult you in my first post but I held off in case you were Russian and something was lost in translation.

This forum does attract an interesting spectrum of people.
