I don't know if I've posted in this thread or a similar one Anyway, i use an online wallet (blockchain). Would advice against using an exchange wallet. Best to get them out as soon as you receive them. Who knows what happens to your coins on-chain?

I am using C-CEX , Bittrex ( low amounts ) aswell as paper wallets , multibit. and the bitcoin core pretty much all wallets honestly : >
please don't call exchange accounts a wallet. There is a huge difference between holding money in a wallet and on an on-line exchange. And so are the risks. Let's do not mix it here.

I've seen recently quite a few people have lost coin in Blockchain.info and it is what i use with 2fa for what i trade etc
How safe is it? Are these just a few cases of one of thefts from someone who has access to the persons computer or is it more worrying?
Thanks i would like to know any problems if any what anybody has had with Blockchain.info.
I may add i have used it for a long time with no problem it is just recently i see people saying they was hacked etc

Combo of Bitcoin Core, Blockchain.info, and paper wallet should be all you need. IF you want to get extra fancy, dole out some cheddah for a Trezor or Ledger.

i think 2FA (especially google auth) is safe for securing your account most of hacked users didn't activate 2FA, and they lost their account/coins but it's better if you only use blockchain for small transactions. use bitcoin core/electrum for bigger tx.

yes, thats right. I think not solution to store btc from exchanger. use bitcoin core or armory to safe.

I'm using Blockchain wallet because I do not want to download anything to my computer or phone. Blockchain work on mobile browser too, I do not understand why some people download the application.

If I have a good internet connection and huge free space I would use the bitcoin-core one Because it's not, MultiBit is my 2nd option, safer than any online wallet for starter

I am using the blockchain.info wallet because of convenience and security as well. I only choose electrum when I have a big amount of BTC and want to store them locally for long term safe keeping.

I am also using GreenAddress based on multi-sig feature. I think it is secure enough to store small amount of money for daily spending.
