I'm using Blockchain wallet because I do not want to download anything to my computer or phone. Blockchain work on mobile browser too, I do not understand why some people download the application.
online wallet is not security enough! Some ppl fancy downloading local wallet!

Playing around with BitcoinJ (Bitcoin Java library) and I'm really impressed. It's quite a mature project and with the latest release it's been fun working with HD wallets.

it's safer to hold your coin in local wallet that you have 100% access than store in 3rd party wallet
especially if you have large amount of coins
if you decide to use online wallet like blockchain, i suggest you to activate 2FA for security reason
and like above user said, blockchain known for their downtime (occasionally)
if you need to send bitcoin in hurry and at the moment blockchain is down, what will you do? Cheesy

What is downtime?

Quote
Time during which a machine, especially a computer, is out of action or unavailable for use.

It maybe due to DDOS attack, hard disk failure, hosting failure etc...

For daily transactions I use blockchain.info
I also keep some BTC in bittrex and BTC-e, so I'm not too late to buy and sell

Don't keep the amount you can't loose. Many exchanges are being hacked(atleast what they claim).

Using an exchange as an online wallet should never be done. BTER should be a lesson for the people.

I use Bitcoin Core with the complete blockchain on my computer.

The only downside is that nowadays it takes nearly 10-15 minutes for the wallet to open.

It's quite annoying. Is there a way to speed this up?

I open the wallet nearly everyday to download the latest blocks. But time on time again it takes so long for it to open.

I use multibit. It's an offline wallet. For the most part I keep my BTC offline unless I am ready to buy
something with it. I sometimes keep a little bit on Bter.com because any coins you hold there earn
daily interest.

Due to this guy i also sent my btc to get interest but lost all hahahaha

Yes it a great lesson never to save your money in an exchange site, these are all scammer  Grin

I use both blockchain and coinbase but coinbase has not been so good as it does not transfer to my bank account and does not transfer few bitcoins to another account. I also have a xapo wallet but the transaction fee is about 10% of the amount you transfer.

I just sent someone bitcoins from my blockchain account to Xapo and the person was charged 10% as transaction fee. Xapo is expensive in that case and I don't think it is worth to make a transaction via Xapo.

Really? I sent the bitcoins just 2 days back and so soon they removed the transaction fee?   Undecided It's good then as blockchain is doing better and Xapo is just new.
