Blockchain.info is very easy to use for noob like me.. and the fee is not high just 10k satoshi

the amount of fee is dependent on the amount you're sending. The bigger the amount, the higher the fee..
even if its Blockchain.info

the amount of fee has nothing to do with "the amount" of bitcoin you are sending
it is related to "the size" of transactions, and the bigger the size the higher the fee. and it is calculated automatically in every wallet client i have seen so far

It was supposed to be improved in the new release (0.10) ... I tried it out for a few minutes, it was hard to tell if it was really faster or not. I would think so since after downloading the headers your client can then proceed to download the blocks async (P2P from multiple peers).

It is fast now. Earlier blockchain was downloaded from one peer but now it is downloaded from multiple peers. And headers are diwnloaded first now.

the biggest problem is not the speed, it is the HUGE size of the blockchain. well at least for me. i don't want to waste my hard drive for such a huge file.

I use Electrum. It's very easy, is lightweight (doesn't download the whole Blockchain) and you can also specify custom transactions, which is great! I guess it's pretty safe, too!

True, and that's why bitcoin core isn't designed to be used for everyone. There are thin clients like Electrum and web wallets like blockchain.info.

True, and that's why bitcoin core isn't designed to be used for everyone. There are thin clients like Electrum and web wallets like blockchain.info.

IMHO It should be two types of clients:
 - Full blockchain: It could be like the current Bitcoin core (Bitcoin enthusiasts would use it).
 - Last year blockchain (or last 6 months): Every X months a special block is generated, it has a list with all addresses with unspent transactions ant the "age" of coins. The hash of the special block is saved on the main blockchain. Now the clients need less data for sending coins. You only need that special block and the latest blocks.

I have a system on the LAN that has Bitcoin Core and the blockchain. It's useful when developing on my main machine to have it there but when I shutdown that system down sometimes for weeks it can be tedious even to download.

Out of the wallets you mention i use Blockchain the most but i do keep small amounts on btc-e and bittrex to buy alts easier and make more btc 

I should really use a offline wallet i guess when i lose a few btc i will but fingers crossed till now my 2fa and not clicking random links has been ok.

have you read about all those horror blockchain balance lost. It was regarding on the 2fa security and other balances. this is about 3 months ago, but its still recent.

you might want to check this before and consider spliting the balance.
