I've been using android wallet tho I don't have a lot of btc so I'm don't worry about extra btc.
i'm using this too, it easy to use Everyone knows that Mycelium is the best wallet for phones i want to try this one i hope it more secure then blockchain wallet Mycelium does not depend on central point (=bc.info), and they host private key only on your device, so it can be considered secure.

Yes, Multibit is very fast to sync since it doesn't download the whole blockchain. But imho it isn't the best regarding privacy, because you cannot choose the input and output address on your own...

I actually just found the Beta version (MultiBit HD) I was looking for. The multibithd.org website is just a placeholder but https://beta.multibit.org has a working download. It's really awesome. They re-did the whole GUI it looks awesome and it works using HD wallets which is just what I was looking for.

Currently I am using the latest version of core at home, Mycelium when I am mobile. I formerly used blockchain.info but never really keep change in a spending wallet. If I am out and need to make a payment I can ssh into my home machine and free up a few bits anytime.

I use blockchain.info, although they have had security issues in the past I don't have large amounts of bitcoins. If you are going to hold large amounts use a paper wallet.

I first started using coinbase, and I thought it had really limited functions and I couldn't rely on it, so I switched to blockchain.

Have you downloaded the whole chain? If you can't wait, try Blockchain. It work on almost all platform and you don't need to download the whole chain.

I use core wallet for both hot and cold storage. It is just fine for what I need, and I can really recommend it. With the newest version 0.10.0 it is faster to start from scratch, thus don't worry about the downloading time.

Not a good idea. Localbitcoins is not an online wallet service - that is not their primary focus and therefore will not spend the same time or funds as a dedicated online wallet. Storing your bitcoins on any online service is a bad idea, but if you must at least use a service that specializing in that. I would recommend you try Blockchain.info and see how easy to use and versatile a real wallet can be.

Have you got google 2fa activated? If you have then it is highly unlikely that anyone is going to hack your localbitcoin wallet but you are not in control of the wallet which is never a good thing. Blockchain.info is pretty good for smaller amounts and i go with electrum and have never had any problems plus you get 2fa on both of the wallets stated also. All the best finding the wallet for you..
