shocking how many people are still  using the online exchanges as a "wallet"

the only wallet thats 100% safe is one that you alone have the private keys

anything else will end in tears if history is anything to go by  Roll Eyes

I couldn't agree more, but many people prefer convenience over security. As if you can't find enough horrible stories in these very forums of why not to trust online wallets and exchanges with your coins.

That being said, I really wanted to keep this thread going as a valuable trove of data to see how everyday users are controlling their coins. Might be useful in the future to develop something that allows ease of use without compromising security.

I'm using two wallets right now. Number one on my list is blockchain. Majority of bitcoin users use this too I suppose. Then comes Schildbach's android wallet. It can be very handy at times. I can just go with my bitcoin wallet wherever i go and android wallets are just great when you're unable to reach your desktop or laptop.
