How can I download YouTube videos with Date inserted into filename?
bonus points if some program can have me format it how I would like

Use Internet Download Manager...just hover your mouse on the video and the download button will appear on the top right of the video, then you can rename to whatever you want .. name or date or whatever you want..

Record the video using camtasia and then put the date next to it using the camtasia callout options. |

True, but sometimes I ran into something which is not worth downloading as a whole, which is why I was asking if there's an easy way of doing this. |

In fact, it allows downloading 1080p videos when the SSYOUTUBE.com (savefrom.net) only allows up to 720p but I prefer the installed software 4k video downloader: https://www.4kdownload.com/products/product-videodownloaderI'm just looking for the easiest way to download that will auto include the date since I like to have that and download a lot of videos |

In Firefox, the Downloadhelper add-on is real nifty. You can save YT videos as Mp4, flv, 3gp and more. As for the date, you just add that as you save the video I guess.
