Hi there,

This faucet was launched in 2014, the first transaction took place on 2014-12-22 08:15:36.

Supported coins are Bitcoin testnet, Groestlcoin testnet
Bitcoin testnet - https://coinfaucet.eu/btc-testnet/
Groestlcoin testnet - https://coinfaucet.eu/grs-testnet/

Faucet supports addresses.

Example testnet BTC (Legacy/Segwit/Taproot):
mwZPfTMiVQEzXTEhwLmi5dcmq7EvcDqLGr
tb1q0g5y6yhk7z25n7zxl4vtcanxyp44ng74x8esta
tb1parlan9xte2slkmj0j8u6wzdnzye55n4ljrlzrxp8ujqx2fmzcu7q4cakc5

Example testnet GRS (Legacy/Segwit):
2Mxgq2A3hWuDWC1TwLTxJRmWm5ck8Vwzbr8
tgrs1q408nujxypq6c5lt3nghvpsqvdey9utwlwpfkcd

Please do not ask me to send a coin outside the faucet!
My stocks of coins are shrinking and I don't generate new ones anymore.

If you really need a lot of testing coins, try some other solution. For example:
bitcoin-testnet-box
bitcoin-regnet

Or you can swap them for another coin, for example here:
altquick.com/swap

Hello,
I changed the design of faucet and amount for withdrawal is calculated automatically now.
Amount is calculated in range (min - max) and with probability:

0.25 - 0.5 BTC   => 88.889%
0.5 - 1 BTC   => 10%
1 - 2 BTC      => 1%
1.5 - 3 BTC   => 0.1%
2 - 4 BTC      => 0.01%
2.5 - 5 BTC   => 0.001%

Best regards  Roll Eyes

there's nothing there except a request for my address and a bar that says 'withdrawal'. There's no faucet, just a really, really cool background.

Why you think that isn't faucet? Undecided

Quote from: bitcoin.it
Faucet:
Used to gives bitcoins out for free to each visitor. IP addresses that receive bitcoins were recorded, so that bitcoins were given only once to each address.

no reason to get excited as this coins can't be exchanged for real bitcoin or fiat. This are only to test the network, no any faucet will give you that much of bitcoin in a single claim.

Hey mate, thanks for the coin system, however it told me it's sent the coins and the testnet block explorers tell me the transaction can't be found. is there a bit of a delay?

To anyone asking what they are worth - they are worthless in money terms, and it is important they stay that way.

If people start selling them, then they will be worthless and the system will be reset.

Entered a new address from my Omni core testnet wallet.
1st attempt said illegal activity - do it again and you will be banned?!
I came here to read the posts - saw that it must be addresses starting with 'm...'
Went back into wallet and confirmed address starts with 'm...'
Tried again - and saw BANNED in red!

Hi,

I am going to make a (hopefully huge) testnet mixing test via HiddenWallet/ZeroLink.
https://github.com/nopara73/HiddenWallet/
https://github.com/nopara73/ZeroLink/

I'd like to direct people who wants to participate to a testnet faucet site.
For various reasons the mixing requires to be started from bech32 addresses, however there is no testnet faucet service that would work with bech32 addresses.
Would you consider adding support to it in yours?

Site is temporarily shut down due to stuck transactions

Testnet network is now experiencing a big transaction flood. Transactions fees are too high, so the faucet was temporarily closed.
All of our transactions are stucked in unconfirmed transactions, when the situation improves, we will be back again.

Hello,

My name is Artyom and currently I'm working on a project related to crypto wallets. And for testing we need different wallets with different crypto coins. I need to test 100 000 wallets working in parallel and 50 000 of them should use bitcoin. Is there a chance to get 2300 of test coins?

I'm sorry, but I quit sending individual testnet BTC.
Recently I have received many requests. But my supplies are shrinking considerably.
And the generation of new coins is very difficult for high complexity.

If you really need a lot of testing coins, try some other solution. For example:
bitcoin-testnet-box
bitcoin-regnet

Note for Bitcoin Cash testnet:
Bitcoin Cash testnet faucet so far it only supports old style of addresses.

Example:
OLD style: mwZPfTMiVQEzXTEhwLmi5dcmq7EvcDqLGr
NEW style: qzhlsptufzguppwl5jl5tcg2mkt34mshfuctl2ynsa / bchtest:qzhlsptufzguppwl5jl5tcg2mkt34mshfuctl2ynsa

I am trying to test some changes we have made to our BitPay payment option and am using testnet as my faucet.

However, when I try to use the application to load up on test bitcoins (https://coinfaucet.eu/en/btc-testnet/)

The app returns with an "Invalid Captcha" message

I have tried several times, with a new address from my BitPay test wallet, but nothing seems to be the magic ticket.

Thanks!

I did not notice any problem. I see other users use the faucet normally. But...

I tried to use another captcha a few days back. I suspect my faucet abusing robots.
Now I've switched faucet back to google captcha. Please, test it.

Hello emsit, I can not send you PM because I'm a newbie on this forum.

We are a group of successful traders and preparing legal platform where the community will evaluate their bitcoins. Getting started on Bitmex. The whole thing will work so that anyone will become a trader and publish his Bitmex statistics via the api key. Other people can give him follow and automatically copy his trades.

We have been very active for 5 years in a group of Czech and Slovak traders. People are watching and copying our trades. This intended platform should make it all easier and more automated. But we'd also like to find other successful traders on our platform. Anyone can give them follow based on their statistics. We start with bitcoin, but we also add forex and stocks.

We now have more than 2,000 registered users and growing daily and eagerly awaiting the start of trading. We're all set up, but we need to do some tests on the Bitmex testnet. That's why I'm writing to you. We would like to try copying trades for 1,000 accounts, but we need each to get ideally 1 btc in the testnest bitcoin network. We unfortunately do not have these btc and we do not know where to find them fast. Can you please provide us some btc in the bitcoin testnet network? Most of them can be sent back after testing.

Thank you for answer.

Zdravim,
Embarrassed

Ak nemas este penazenku, odporucam ti nainstalovat electrum a spustit ju prikazom electrum --testnet nemusis stahovat cely blockchain...

Received some BTC testnet coins, thanks. But the address I was given to use, in sending back the coins, seems problematic.

I get the following msg from 2 block explorers:

Quote
Sorry, 'mv4myY3Su5gjcDNzbMLKBQkBicCtHUtFB' is not a valid BTC Testnet address, wallet name, transaction or block

and

Search by address failed mv4myY3Su5gjcDNzbMLKBQkBicCtHUtFB

Can you advise?

Cheesy I do not know how you did it, but you have a mistake in the address.
The correct address is: "mv4rnyY3Su5gjcDNzbMLKBQkBicCtHUtFB"
You used the address: "mv4myY3Su5gjcDNzbMLKBQkBicCtHUtFB"

Hello!

I was banned from your faucet, around 7-8 months ago. The reason I was banned was because I requested from the faucet too many times in a row (I think!). Is it possible that, you unbanned my IP address?  It was honestly and truthfully a mistake, that I requested too many times 😇

I was also wondering if I could get your help, and your opinion on a few bitcoin related topics, as I assume you must be very knowledgeable on the topic!? Will you please accept messages from me?

Again, sorry for abusing the faucet!
Cheers
Hiko ❤️

Hello,

Can you send me your IP address so I can investigate what happened?
The faucet monitors some parameters that log in to the database when he reaches the threshold, the address is banned.

The Faucet is my old project, so I'm not very knowledgeable... What would interest you?

Hi, somebody is trying to make the faucet unusable.
It floods my wallet with a lot of small transactions.
As a result, the new transaction is very large and cannot be created. Now it should work, try.

Hi. First of all - Thank you very much for your work on the faucet, much appreciated.

I've made three transactions and am attempting to return the test coin however when I try to do it I keep getting a message - Insufficient funds - I get this no matter how little or much I put in.

Where am I going wrong?

Hello,
I changed the design of faucet and amount for withdrawal is calculated automatically now.
Amount is calculated in range (min - max) and with probability:

0.25 - 0.5 BTC   => 88.889%
0.5 - 1 BTC   => 10%
1 - 2 BTC      => 1%
1.5 - 3 BTC   => 0.1%
2 - 4 BTC      => 0.01%
2.5 - 5 BTC   => 0.001%

Best regards  Roll Eyes

Hi...

How can I get more than 0.018000 BTC per day?
How do you increase the probability of a larger translation?

Thank for the faucet.

Unfortunately it doesn't accept bitcoin script addresses which are 66 characters long. Like this one: bc1qlfg8dx3k06dwugkg9l73jfjh7qyr8x40catjwlaraav3vy7r3hjqn0908l

Could you pelase update it to accept longer addresses?

I've used this in the past, but today there is a "Internal Server Error: 500".  Will the faucet be coming back OP?

You can use Bitcoin privately without giving up custody: https://mempool.space/tx/d465033214fd2309dcce5a90c45fcaa788aa4394ee36debe07aad8d8a37907d2

Taproot addresses are not yet supported.
I have implemented a validator for taproot, need to refresh the page and try.

Faucet supports Legacy/Segwit addresses.

Hi. My name is Will and you can find me as ilgiga on Twitter.
I'd like to BUY some tBTC at symbolic price.
I bought 15 of them a few weeks ago and (as a joke) a created The Testet Bitcoin Raspberry Day https://twitter.com/ilgiga/status/1752394576650801607 because I sold one Raspberry PI5 8Gb for around 15 testnet bitcoin :-)
I'm a bitcoiner and my ebay Store www.ebay.it/str/figurineliebig accepts bitcoin as payment for over 32000 items in stock
So, if you can help me accumulating some tBTC ... you are wellcome :-)

Hello, I'm sorry, but I probably can't help you. My faucet is a closed solution (security).
You could try to find some faucet on github (if there is one).
But personally, I don't think you want to run a faucet, it probably won't even make you money to run, and donations are rather exceptional.

Anyway you can make another one just for my site where I can embed it on the page? A separate one I don't need it directly through my site just make another one that links to my site on your site. I want to give out .001 tBTC every hour.

I don't care if it makes money I just want to add one to https://bitcointestnet.org. can you create a separate faucet with the logo and have it so I can embed it on my site with a code? Testnet war
This page is temporarily down due to the consequences of the "testnet war", such as synchronization loss, unconfirmed transactions...

Bitcoin developers themselves have begun to fight against Bitcoin testnet, because unable to control their emotions and behaving like children. They have taken on the roles of police, judges, and enforce their personal rules. As Bitcoin testnet cannot be destroyed due to its decentralization, they have decided to take actions that prevent and inconvenience its use for everyone!!! And they even mock people to their faces.
Specifically, for example, Lopp, who openly admits to this attack here, here, here. I believe he is not alone in this, and his actions cast a bad light on people who are involved in development and have nothing to do with this attack.
I therefore hold the opinion that people like him should not have access to development because, due to their personal tantrums, they represent a general security risk for Bitcoin as a whole.
All of this arose because the testnet is used to test applications (which, by the way, is the essence of the Bitcoin testnet) and people are rewarded for it in the form of AirDrops. Another problem they see is that the testnet started trading publicly about a year ago on altquick.com (the closed market has been around for a long time...) which is completely logical given its similarity to BTC (limited supply, mining...) Yes, I have no problem with that. The market also has positives, for example, people who need a quantity they cannot obtain from available sources will not misuse services such as faucets. People will not HODL testnet, it will circulate again, and people who buy testnet, will sell it again after use...

This faucet has been operating for 10 years (9 of which without any advertising) and I have distributed more than 327k tBTC from own resources which cost money (mining). And if these intrigues continue, it will probably be its end.

When I openly asked here https://groups.google.com/g/bitcoindev/c/9bL00vRj7OU if Lopp is attacking BTC and what his reasons are, given that it affects everyone, my post was not published, which confirmed to me that democracy does not work...

It is probably time to start taking an interest in the people who manage the Bitcoin core, how they got there, and who oversees them. If you have exposure to BTC, it's also about your "money"...
