Its a newbie account, and I highly doubt he will be awarding the bounty to anyone, and will just come back with an alt account.
However, Op, if you do use the name and not pay bounty, then expect to be neg bombed if you launch something with that name.

i think he is smart enough, he is asking people to send via PM, maybe he wont use the name as it is but separate some and create a new name out of all the ideas

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

PGP/GPG sign your ideas before you PM them.

Saying that you don't trust someone because of their behavior is completely valid.

i'm asking prople to send it to pm because i don't want some people to register it before me..

Yes you can, if you don't believe me this can be good.

im sure the community got some great idea unless you escrow the reward, i guess you wont get a decent name, so why dont you escrow it?

As other people said, the best thing you can do is make this competition public or use a escrow service for the 0.1BTC Bounty.

With this action, we can prevent future problems like your newbie account disappearing (you being offline for a long time) and you registering the domain that ideated another guy for free Wink

It's obvious that community want an "insurance"… and if you want to be fair, use escrow. As easy as that

Just wonder why submissions are only allowed, if it's pm'ed?

I would have made this public, to prevent 100s of people pm me with the same name. It is also easy to tell someone, that the name has already been submitted, if you liked the name, and you do not want to pay the person.

Escrow would be a nice bonus.

PGP/GPG sign your ideas before you PM them.
Even if you PGP sign your suggestions couldn't he just claim that you created the PGP signed message after he chooses?

Wouldn't it be better to ask for a PGP signed "receipt" acknowledgeing that you gave him a specific suggestion?

Then he'd have to revise history (aka hack the forum and Google cache and people's backups) of him saying he hadn't chosen yet. When you verify PGP signed messages, it says when the message was signed. In my case gpg: Signature made Tue Feb 10 18:34:25 2015 PST using RSA key ID 93E90CFC

You should post your source of funds being available 1st, before requesting anything out of us.

Such as a escrow funded account, so we know the funds are there and worth the time to suggest you a good site name. If not, its like doing free labor and not knowing if we did win you wont run since the account is funded.

At least show the effort of showing your address or tx id or something.
