Well it does make things difficult when you find something interesting with Google for example and would like to comment it here.

Only in Newbie section, unless you become Jr.Member. Often questions are answered in Newbie section well, so no big problem I guess

I think this is a great way to keep the bots out!
Other bulletin boards need to adopt this rule.

Well, this forum is different in many ways. For instance, it is allowed to sell accounts here.

Been waiting a while. Actually joined months ago and mostly just follow threads. For some reason I have not ever been promoted - because I need to be on screen for >4 hours??

Its been going on for a while! i guess people say that its good if the account is old, but I think that as long as you get trust you are fine!

i cannot see why this system should prevent any troll of doing the same procedure as normal user would do to unlock the reply stuff. well. idc.

anyway you should at least make this procedure more clear to newbies! Right after the registration process there should be a hint or even better an email, that explains these restrictions.

thanks.

Well this explains a lot  Smiley

I guess that I'm going to have to be more sociable before I'm able to contribute to the current DMD issue, ugh.

This time of year, the most social interaction that I've gotten has been from the FedEx and UPS delivery guys    Cheesy
