ahaha thi is nice!!!

if you think at the airplane, it is the most secure

consider how many fatal car accidents in the day there are ...
and how many fatal accidents in air per day, there are ...

the plane definitely wins !!!

Expedia allows Bitcoin payment for hotel bookings. Expect them to add flight bookings soon too, though I don't see much benefit in that. Hotel booking I can understand if one is looking for some anonymity.

YEah paying for hotels with BTC is cool..but I still dont think it wll be anonymous.. as Im sure the hotel will ask for some sort of ID of yours..b4 u check in.. So not anonymous..unless uve faked the ID's.! Tongue

I've never been on a plane in my life.

Now you can do that by sending 1's and 0's to someone.

At the moment, not from where I live but hope to see it become a reality someday. And that doesn't mean only on flight tickets but just about everything we can buy using bitcoin.

I have sometimes paid in cash for hotel rooms. They usually wanted a scan of my passport if I wanted to pay in cash. If I had paid by credit card they might not have needed it, but there was no way to stay there without proving who you were. Bitcoin would probably be treated like a cash payment and need a passport scan.

Could anyone please post a link to the webpage of the airline company where it is actually possible to pay with BTC. Thanks a lot.

I don't want to spoil the party, but Expedia does not accept BTC (no difference for flights or hotels, at least in Europe), nor does British Airways, Easyjet, Ryanair, KLM or any company I've traveled with recently.

I used to be a citizen and a taxpayer. Those days are long gone.

A simple google willgive out lot of result. Here is one of them : http://www.cheapair.com/help/payment-and-billing/what-is-bitcoin/
But you will have to do your study if most of the companies are legit.
