Which are the bright new altcoins of 2015?

I've had my head under a rock the past couple of months, scrambling to make ends' meet, but now I'm back
and trying to get a feel for what's already come out in 2015 that's worth looking at and what is *going* to be
coming out.

it's true that Vior is interesting, but they have some transparency issues to take care of before

my guess is that 2015 will be the year ppl will return to investing in the oldest altcoins with results already and strong community.

I've been seeing a bit of talk about this one. It does look interesting, especially since (like you said) there
is an actual business model behind it.

This looks cool. I read the whitepaper (which was very easy to understand) and if the dev can deliver what
he is outlining there, he may have something very interesting on his hands. Any idea of a launch date?

I don't think any good altcoins have come out in 2015.  Ethereum is the only one that will be coming out.  Here are the ones I think have promise to do well in 2015:


Good possibilities:

TRI
Reason: Very low marketcap and has a couple of good devs.  One is working on a trading app that you will need TRI to use.

RDD - it's mostly on https://www.reddcointalk.org/ and somewhat on http://www.reddit.com/r/reddcoin/
Reason: Has somewhat decent distribution.  Devs haven't given up on it in over a year and have more features planned - Browser wallet, etc.

SYS
Reason: Has decent devs and could be actually useful.

and obviously Ethereum


Also possibilities:

VNL
Reason: One of the very few coins that is not a fork of bitcoin.  Claims to be VC backed.  I'm not entirely sure where this one is going, but it's one to look out for.

SSD
Reason: Very low market cap anon coin.  Uses steganography for anon.  The dev is very good, but I'm not certain how often he's working on the coin.

BLK
Reason: Has somewhat decent distribution.  Has decent devs that haven't given up.
