what was the big thing coming for bitcoin? afaik there is nothing but the price drop?
We have already said, it was his personal big news and of course it will not affect the bitcoin price. We can say it was only a "joke" and we don't know if the price will raise or not in these days. |

I think it will not affect the bitcoin price because it is not 'related' with bitcoin and of course the price will not pump or dump (due that thing). |

I read the topic as well and I personally believe that ofcourse it won't affect bitcoin in anyway...there won't be any pumps and dumps and its still safe to assume for the time being the Government won't be able to fully control it.

So the 15th has come and gone, and that something big is.....Elwars Bitpools forum.  Well if that doesn't get your juices flowing....well it doesn't, I'm afraid to say.  But it's a forum that forces you to prove you have and hold some Bitcoin to weed out the trolls! So what. Beartrolls hold Bitcoin too. Just because they troll doesn't mean they don't hold. But it's also a crowdfunding forum where you get a nice Bitcoin seastead! And. You'll need millions of money, BTC or fiat just to maintain it, and the natives would get restless pretty fast. Guess, anything to drive a little traffic to his own forum and create a mini hype cycle. Overall, a suck of an announcement truth be told.... |

17 pages, I can't believe ppl are so naive they fall for this, a stranger might as well ask you to wait in a park for 2 months because he got something for you  I give Elwar credit though. He got us talking, speculating, wishing big...  End game not so much, but this what a forum is supposed to be about. Kudos Elwar! For sparking the dialogue of possibilites. Bitpools, eh, we'll see. |

Luckily for everyone, I will be start progress toward crowd funded DAOs today. Crowd funded DAOs will allow for people to create real world businesses that operate at lower costs. These businesses will bring in new users who will be trained on how to use cryptocoins at the store.
This is a big deal. I will be talking about a "small" project that I have planned. My hope is that other people can understand what I'm doing and replicate the concept to create 100s of DAOS in 2015.
A DAO could as small as an Orange Juice cart along Miami beach that only accepts Bitcoins, or as big as a super center Wal-mart like store that only accepts Bitcoins.
