If the sadistic Hashie (Hi, Frozen Queen !  Cry) is here in this thread, things are bad for the Havelock Investments group.

Why would that be ? Looks like  FUD to me. It´s just s friggin nutbag.

We didn't expect maintenance to take this long.

Once again we apologize for the delay.

Havelock

This starts to sound like Beekeeper's messages.

I just hope next message won't be you have been hacked and now are fixing database.

I don´t know; they´ve been having these persistent outages for quite a while. Guess they´re doing something about it now. At least I hope so.

If they were absconding with your funds (a pretty high likelihood in the BTC marketplace when outages occur) why would they even bother with this thread anyway ? Don´t see the gain.

Why aren't we told what the reason is of the downtime? Or did I miss it in this thread?

We are updating the site at the moment and maintenance will take longer than expected.

That's not a lot of information for such a big site.

Whatever it is, I am glad they have are doing it now during a weekend when very little action is taking place on the order books. If they can resolve some of the load issues they were experiencing during peak trading hours it will be well worth the wait in my opinion.

Could you please allow users to give an address for shares to be associated with in case a site shutdown happens. This would allow the issuers to handle things on their end if havelock goes down.

Issuers receive the complete list of of shareholders every 12 hours, or so.

Having just lived through the PBmining fiasco .... I have to admit, this scares me a little.
Hopefully all is good though.

Yep, I scheduled the dividends in advance; I've been receiving the unit holder lists as well. However, Havelock holds all funds in escrow for BDD, so the health of the fund of course relies on the health of the exchange.

So if havelock never comes back how does the issuer know what address to send divs to? My email?

Must say it is not looking good. I am getting sick and tired of the scams and people wonder why BTC or any other crypto will not succeed.
