I'm looking for a basic web page with javascript code to calculate the RIPEMD-160 hash of a local file.
1) The user should be allowed to select the local file using a <form><input type="file"> and
2) immediately when the file is selected, it would give some indication that it's calculating (progress would be great) and
3) display the resulting hash when done. (i.e. 270c4fb0603498fc1f1eff6bd36c8d114ac7c28c gotten from openssl's rmd160 command)
4) For this of course, the file doesn't need to be uploaded anywhere.
I'm offering 0.1 btc for this for the first to post working a page in this thread.
Thanks,
weex
If you want I can replace the text box with a File input:
