The unusual behavior of 'Willy' - A Mt. Gox trading bot.

Do you think Mark Karpeles is behind this?

Do you think that because of the fact that Ulbricht is going to be sentenced soon, are they going for Karpeles too?

yea when I saw the title I thought this was going to be about the return of bitcoinbuilder  Grin. (who would'a thunk it -- bitcoinbuilder might be one of the few non-scammers in the bitcoin space.)

How Ulbricht and Karpeles are related?

They are not in the same jurisdiction, and as far I know Silk Road was nothing close to an exchange

How does one mix several hundred 1000s of bitcoins though? Especially as a most wanted man in bitcoin.

No clue, officially. Like most people, I believe he has access to millions and millions od dollars in stolen BTC. Therefore, has the most qualified attorneys keeping him free, for the moment.
My humble opinion.

It may be because they dont have proofs, that he stole that money.

YES, his system was bad and many people lost their coins, but he may not (or may ofc) stole them bud he did not do anything illegal until they prove that he has something to do with the money lost.
The second thing you have to remember is that he has lost a lot (and I mean a LOT) of money himself (from trades, ads etc etc)... it is unfortunate, but he is victim as well as any person with mt gox money stolen

Were there rumors he did a deal with the US to avoid prosecution in return for giving them the information they needed to find out who DPR was? If he did do a deal he would be immune from prosecution by the US. That still leaves the Japanese police who think Mt Gox was an inside job, but they're still investigating.
