How did you got into bitcoin/crypto ?

So! i was just thinking about how i got in crypto's , it wasn't interesting , and my google interest gave way to crypto's world slowly.
But am sure, there are people out there with interesting stories and i would love to hear them please

Someone at work was talking about the Silk Road in October 2013.  My weed sources were very dry at that time.  I went home and read about the Silk Road that night. 

I learned I had to buy bitcoin.  So I went and saw the price at like $300, I said damn hold on a minute before I get scammed.  I looked again the next day and it was like $330.

It was like a first HIGH.

I said forget about the weed, I want to trade BTC. 

And here we are today.

I saw it on google as a main new when I was searching for something else when it was 40 dollars and I didnt buy... I hear it again after 1K rally.

Well my story was kinda boring. I was searching some cool articles in the interwebs when I suddenly came up to a meme with the text "CAN I HAZ BITCOIN?" Out of my curiosity, I started searching for bitcoin in the web, often being redirected to some exchanges that by that time I knew nothing about. Then I came to bitcoin.org, and learned my first bits of knowledge about this digital currency. Since then, I started to gather more and more information, digging deeper and deeper in this mine of knowledge, and ended up buying my first bitcoins and earning it. So yeah, that was it. Boring, right?

I wish I could recall how it happened though. I was on the internet searching for some money making stuff and ended up here. After reading more and more that got me interested but the first crypto that I actually got into wasn't bitcoin. It was quark. I was there for a few months and after seeing the community sort of disorganized on the directions, I decided to switch to bitcoin.

Before i have read a few small articles about it, but didn't pay much attention to it.
From then on, i was keep on following and read a lot about 'the world of coins'.
