I tried BlockChain.io and Green Address in my IOS. It would take me huge time to load up my account balance. It was quite slow. I like Green Address, which is neat and easy to use!

Seriously, try breadwallet. On iOS, it hardly gets better than that.

In theory, there's no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.

breadwallet isn't better than greenAddress, I didn't try the first one but I can tell you that greenAddress is much better mobile wallet for iOS (multiSig) and greenBits for android wallet.

A lot of people seem to like Mycelium however I have never used them so I cannot speak for how good of a wallet service it is. I personally use blockchain.info because it synches with my web blockchain.info wallet, although they have had a number of security issues in the past

I'm using Blockchain. Seem to me better idea to just connect to the blockchain wallet and use it than to have coins on my mobile in case I would loose it or someone stole it.

That's more dangerous, since you have to rely on 3rd party. As long as your wallet are HD wallets, you just have to write down 12 words in order and secure it. When you lose your phone or someone steal it, you can use 12 words to recover your coins. (Mycelium supports PIN to protect from unauthorized actions)

These are pretty much your options for iOS:

[ img]https://i.imgur.com/8108Nkn.png[/img]

Can't go wrong with Green Address or Hive I hear.

Hive iOS version isn't decentralized AFAIK. I recommend using Breadwallet or Mycelium over Hive. I, however, use Hive as LTC wallet because of the lack of good LTC iOS wallets. ANX is there but it is less secure than Hive.

* Hive use similar deterministic tree structure (BIP39) to Breadwallet, so you may be able to use Hive backup phrases on Breadwallet and vice versa.

MyCelium is great for beginners and expert alike but my favorite android wallet is wallet32, it's a HD wallet and has just about everything you need, not sure about signed message option, only just thought of that I will check now and update.
Green address is also a good wallet but has been a bit slow for me lately.

Edit: wallet32 does not have a signed message option, pitty because it's the only thing missing for a good android wallet.

I just love the one from Andreas Schildbach. It works fine and it's reliable. I only trust this wallet! (And for some purposes I also use the wallet from Blockchain.info and Mycelium)

Hello guys,

Which is your favourite mobile wallet?

Until now I have been online using bitcoin core on my PC, as it felt the safest way.
What are good alternatives, not always have to synchronize the blockchain.

Especially for iOS. I am fuddling with Coinbase and Blockchain mobile Apps right now.

Bitcoin-qt works well. https://bitcoin.org/en/choose-your-wallet : most wallets are listed here by the Bitcoin foundation.
QT is not mobile wallet!

For me, it's mycelium.

I think they meant the plain old "Bitcoin Wallet":

Still looking as to which one is the best, but I'm really growing a dislike to the Blockchain.info one

had multiple issues as of late, all related to their API being overwhelmed for some reason.
