Nice to be back. Lots of reading to do. I quit mining after prices dropped about a year ago. 225 MHash/s on my 5770 @ 975/1200.

The network tries to produce one block per 10 minutes. It does this by automatically adjusting how difficult it is to produce blocks.

I'm recently back after a year as well. Squeezing some coins out of 3x5830s and a 6850 before the big bad ASIC murders us all in our sleep or something.
