Well, the altcoin market is full of maniplation. The thing is people don't invest in good projects/coins. They invest in hype and what's already 1000% up.
IF XCO at some point get to 1000 sat or 2000 sat, people will be storming to buy... I'll just stake my share!

Nothing wrong with that. We're here to make more BTC and more fiat, that's the whole game. OFC it's great when you buy interesting project.
I am afraid that this is also consequence of unclear situation with pr, marketing, dev as a only tech person etc.
Personally I sold mine XCO (more than 500k) when I saw that chance of going down is much bigger than up.
But I watch this coin and maybe rebuy, but support is weak - price can stabilistae at this level which is very bad for holders above 500s avg.
But I hope price will recover this week!

I bought in @600-750. The way I look at it, is it's long-term. The dev is here, the hard fork is passed, and the money will be made from holding long-term and staking. I have been involved in far worse and made good in the long run. Hell I traded VRC during the summer months buying at 3300 and selling at 4200-4600 probably 3-4x over. (look at the price now selling at 4600 was a huge mistake for me) Keep in mind how much the price of btc effects the price of everything else. From what I can see there was a ton of guys that sold their BTC around the 280-290 range and won't buy back in. You'll notice when btc dips so do alts but alts will usually pick up since lower btc = more btc liquidity for alt markets.

I'm going to give it another month or so.

After the fork the network is still relatively slow. I expected things to improve a bit in that matter, but yet, if one looks at block times distribution (http://www.blocktree.io/charts/XCO) there is practically no difference before and after the fork (about March 15th, 2am). Glitches up to 4000 seconds (more than an hour to find the next block) still occur quite frequently. We need more people staking to support the network.

Interest rate increase to 90% instead of 3%
Max reward is raised to 50 coins.
The big rewards are smooth between 10 and 50 coins .
To get those big rewards the limit is decreased by a factor of 60.
There will be alot of competition then though. So it will be competitive and the chain will run better.
Decline of production by 12.5% per year.

I continue to have problems with moving the blockchain forward. It seems I am one of the few people still staking. Btw., today staking is not working for me either. Spent whole day with the wallet opened, currently have my weight 16297 versus network's 5916, yet no blocks received. Anybody staked today?

yeah, I staked plenty blocks, but only 0.01. I have deposits at chunks of 5-10k, any idea why i don't get bigger stakes?

I have all divided into 5k blocks, yet not even 0.01XCO. It worked before, just stopped after this huge sell-off.
Did anybody notice, what was the age of the blocks that staked today?

remember that this is annually so will not get 90% all at once, I've yet to hit a big one with big rewards. The very few of us (WTF PEOPLE?) that are staking are competing for the reward.

I know that. yet, with the weight of 20129 versus network's 4062 (five times less!), I should be able to at least get 0.01 XCO block, as theoretically I should have the edge over the other competitors.

Try deleting everything except wallet.dat in roaming/xcoin and run it again. You have the correct version?
