As a new BTC user I hope for another few weeks of this stability.

its just going to be so funny when btc is 100K$ (current buying power) each in about 5~7 years and everyone is left scratching their head about how id happened any why the missed out.

BTC does this....we have just shaken out alot of miners....

also the 10K will hit goto i dunno 13K? then crash back to $700 or something rinse repeat to 100000K plus. sability will be found in the 100K to 1M range, not that I care about stability aslo BTC will go pos or something else will likely take over.

At 1M the distribution will be large enough to go pos as so much btc will have changed hands and spread out, there are waves of early adopters that just could not hold on and we have not finished yet.

people just don't get the depths of shakledom the current banking system plus its ineffcency and corrupt/in efficent nature is and what BTC means to that and as a new tech. Hell its a new way of organizing society that has never even been thought possible

Actually, February was full of the 'potentially negative' news that didn't manage to move the price of Bitcoin further down. That is already a big achievement!
Meaning, we are probably observing sentiment change, which is a typical behaviour for the late stages of any trend. Ending a down trend takes usually a little while, so we may probably see some more unsuccessful attempts to drop the price further down on similar news, and a reversal would follow. Let's see what March brings.

Well, that was February. Quietest month in the last year. For now Bitcoin is mostly just sitting there. Except for the brief Coinbase pump and dump, nothing happened.

We'll see a year of nothingness, the big corporations and whales are taking positions in the shadows while scared chickens sell their coins for cheap prices.

If you consider the recent hike in the btc price, you will find that it surprises anyone especially when you have 1 more day left before February ends. As of current exact time of writing, it is still going up and with some strong buying support price is slowly inching upwards. I expect a strong resistance as it goes up but anything from here is still possible.

But next halving is in the end of July 2016. I think till then we may as well see another bubble burst - there would be nothing weird about it.

Oh it will definetly happen, because the price is almost 100% safe to go up, so all money you invest will make a profit, and i believe people are going to harvest that thought massively,
creating another unrealistic bubble.
Its not a bad odd, since we can scratch off that bitcoin will go under 200$ (i mean it can but highly unlikely), so anything u invest, has (probably) a chance to go from 250 to 200 (25% loss), but also
a chance to atleast double itself by june (100% profit).
