Lol, no certainly not trying to fud.  Hadn't started this wallet in long time till today, when it wouldn't connect of course I look here to see what the latest is....don't follow crypto much these days.  When you see wallet download links not functioning, a dead website and a wallet that appears to no longer connect......and considering this is crypto, I am curious what conclusion you would come to Roll Eyes

So you've established the coin is supposed to be functioning.  Any idea why the website is down, why no one can download a working wallet and is it still supposed to be running on version 1?

Thank you for sharing that!  I see it is actually posted towards bottom of op as well, strange how all the wallet URLs point to the .net site which is down. Maybe someone can update the op?

addnode=37.233.101.66:6877

hmm, thanks man much appreciate the reply.  Still no connection, tried adding the current config no connect, tried adding on it's own in config no connect.  Strange with people saying network is working fine, although the replies I got here were hard to take seriously.  Trying to get help connecting my wallet and I'm an instant fudster lol.

Is there any truth to what a few have said about possible IP banning from the network?  Can't see this being my problem as I've had my wallets offline for better part of the last year and half and pretty sure my IP has changed since then.  Even without that seems like a far stretch to me that this would happen to people.

If anyone else has any known working nodes, would much appreciate it.  Is my understanding HTML is now POS and would love to stake my little holdings.  Just got a laptop to run all my POS wallets 24x7 and this is last one am hoping to get up and staking.

Thanks......and Happy New Years to everyone!

Banning an IP from a coin is news to me, I know it is possible but it would have to be hard coded into the coin itself and is useless when someone can change their IP at will any time they feel like it.

For a node, add this to your config file and it should start syncing.

addnode=pl.e-waluty.net.pl

H5 is a PoW/PoS hybrid coin, PoS won't kick in until block 10,800,000

all you need is open port 6877, i guess you were connected b4,
eventually some peer will find you on default port.

check your last blockhash in explorer

and it's not POS

Oh my goodness, a baboon twice in one day lol.  Thanks for suggestion to check the config file name......had it as "hmtlcoin.conf".  Fixed and connected on that node:-)

So what's with all the confusion with this coin being POS?  Its had "staking" in the wallet this whole time and suggestions throughout thread that POS would turn on at a certain block.  Has that block just not been reached yet or the plans to go POS cancelled entirely?

Thanks again man....fricken typos!

As far as I know the devs don't have any plans on cancelling the PoS portion of the coin.

We are on block 1,308,925 and staking starts after block 10,800,000, many years from now.

read the OP:
"POS Begins after Block 10,800,000"

 HTMLCOIN
Total coins   90 Billion
Block mined at   60 seconds
Difficulty Re-targets   What each block
confirmation   10
Confirmation of the block   15
Total blokw   10 800 000
Block reward   blocks 11 - 10,800,000 5 000 HTML5
PoS   After the block, 1 080 000, 1% each year.

So it's a typo, POS 1 080 000 after block?

Was it a random pump or is there a reason for the 10,000 % rise in value?
