Working on getting Chainz BE back online.
Any word on https://chainz.cryptoid.info ? If not, I think that https://thecryptochat.net/ would be happy to setup a block explorer for FIRE. I used to be in contact with fairglu about block explorers, but think maybe The Crypto Chat might be a better place to host it & also gain some more people talking about FIRE?

was this community takeover ot original dev?
**Previous Developer/Promoters/Community efforts done to rebuild FIRE** ~The original developer (Carson K.) & the second development team (tom14cat14, s3cr3t1, DrSnAzZy, CryptocoinTools) have left FIRE. Thank you for the efforts you made to build FIRE. Also a thanks to Earlz for testing with FIRE, as well as any others forking FIRE to launch other coins. Looks like edn247 also tried to help FIRE with an update, making FIRE PoW & PoS again? A true community coin since launch, lets show the world FIRE wasn't a wasted resource. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=669757.0https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=702951.0//FIRE & TECH started days apart in 2014, they were both dumped & abandoned by who ever the origianal developers were. Not sure if it's true, but it was said to be CK & now this new account saying they are CK? Then TOR coin starts, so I'm guessing that maybe it's them & hard to say what or who is behind each user name on this forum in most cases? FIRE has been rebuilt a few times by the community, but hasn't really got much attention due to 100 new alternatives each month. All turned into ICOs & go fund me money pools, the mining fairness of the 1900's has also come & gone with the wind of time. Hey guys, Glad to see TECH is still going strong after I sold it to the community. If you guys ever need me again, I am back in crypto

It's very interesting to see that this coin is still alive after all this time. Think I still have coins in an old wallet. Will probably have to get the newest version and see what the state of things is. Is there any sort of rough roadmap of the future for any new features etc. Not gimmick stuff, just improved tech features.

I wish there was, but unfortunately there are no Developers & or anyone available in the community to update any features. Anything could change @ any time though, one thing that has been seen in many altcoins (community or developer take overs) & or could just drift into a defunct state of the altcoins over the years. Fire Coin (FIRE) has been with only a few nodes for months & without a block explorer as well, but 100's of alts have good functional chains in the same status. Will just have to watch, wait & see

I will say though that IMO POS coins often go this route as they tend to result in people hording their coins for staking and with nothing new coming in via mining, interest slowly evaporates. I went back and even many of the really high % PoS coins are pretty much dead as well. I personally like the idea of a PoW/PoS coin like Peer but that's just me. So it's based on Bitcoin->SifCoin->Quark->Dark->BitBlock->Fire What would you think should be done with it? It would be badly in need of some core updates I would think but once you start on that you have to begin asking if it wouldn't be less work to fork some "new" updated coin and then work from that. Course that opens up a whole can of worms with having to do swaps and stuff. The real question though would be what is it's "purpose". The coin itself is almost immaterial unless it has a real purpose and of course a plan for it's adoption.
