Isn't there enough scammers and thieves to deal with already without the wolves of Wall Street adding to the problem? These guys 'll make MK look like a petty thief.

True that. I don't think this is good for anyone here.

True that. I don't think this is good for anyone here. I don't know that this exposure is a bad thing. On the contrary, to me, initially at least, this seems like good publicity for Bitcoin. TT

I have to agree these guys are the worst thiefs scammers and all around dirty little men on the face of the planet the last people i would want taking an interest in any part of my finances are the wolves! Wolves are sharp not just their teeth lol If they want to be part of bitcoin the chances are they will go for broke and full control, not sure how that would work but not very good for your average joe investor but exciting and fun for anyone who can see what is going on And so it begins...

Pretty sure the wolves already know about bitcoin. Didn't need a newspaper article to tell them. This is more for average Joe investor.

i only hope by attracting more liquid trading as the article suggested, smooth bitcoin’s notoriously volatile price and thus make the digital currency more appealing for online payments and value transfers.

I'd have to see the entire article, but....as these type of coverage usually goes, they mention BTC as the brand-name concept, then quickly move on to alts like ripple systems like MPESA, ideas like applepay and google wallet...
they will mention winklevii, and that other bitcoin fund that should appear on wall st. soon. they might mention VC money thats going into the economy.
its all pretty light news, and if you read this forum, old news too.
the takeaway from these sort of articles is usually; some form of digital payments system is coming, they all have problems right now, but bigger players are making serious moves, wait a few years and you will see which one comes out on top.
they say "bitcoin" in the headline to grab your attention, appeal to the curious, but they rarely endorse bitcoin itself.
that's just been my experience of reading mainstream news articles on the subject. I cant read that imigur so i dont know what this one says. but i'd wager i'm pretty much spot on here.
always the same predictable shit.

Even when it is the same shit, is has their attention. Better an article with known information then nothing.

Yeah..As long as we seek their attention its all good...More ppl will get to know about BTC.. N those wall street guys r very conventional.. it is no surprise to me the way they wrote the article.

Well this could be a good thing but I have my doubts. When writing about Bitcoin, an alternative to the existing systems there is no need to write about Apple pay and similar services. It's not like Apple pay and Bitcoin are the same things. Well one shouldn't expect an article solely dedicated to Bitcoin without negative writing.

Laugh all you want at the wolves and their games, but wall street equals not only big money, but also acknowledgement and press like this little thing in the journal and this is what Bitcoin really needs. It's no longer just some internet money of nerds and junkies This. As an agnostic tool, the more adoption the better. Wall Street brings big money and even a small percentage of that is a good thing.
