Don't think the auction will have big impact on the price, if any. After all, it is two weeks of mining worth of coins. I know that to most users on this forum this seems to be awfully lot, but compared to the total market cap, it is just a small amount.

If the person who buys it dumps it all, then it will have a hugee impact on the price, hopefully they will use it to help Bitcoins price. |

I think today may be an active day in the market. Lets wait and see, but I think it most likely just hold.
Well, I don't think so, as since that small sell-off took place, the volume has been much lower and stable to that extent only till now. Not sure whether the auction is finished yet or not. Actual auction ends today at 2pm EST. Winner will be notified tomorrow, so we'll see if there's any swings pretty soon:  Thanks for the schedule. It's unlikely then that the winner brags about it before the 10th. |

Its usually good early in the week. I believe it will start dropping again around Friday and stay around 240$ per btc.
Oh look it's dropping right now. I hope that it will go down to $240 for me to snatch up some coins for myself. |

If the person who buys it dumps it all, then it will have a hugee impact on the price, hopefully they will use it to help Bitcoins price. The coins will be acquired at relatively cheap levels, compared to the previous auctions, so the chance that they hit the market immediately is very low. They must work for a much more juicy gain before that. |

I sold at 283, made crazy money, bought back in the whole way down. so far I bought at 261, I would love lower. but it ain't happening. bears need to realize that we have been at bottom and now it only goes up |

And yes, congrats for your profits and you will make more as I am sure it may go nowhere but up as the triangles are being seen again by the bots, just wait for a breakout instead of selling them at lower highs.  |

I want to do the same but my BTC are in a cold wallet and don't want to get them out of it. Wait, hold, don't sell unless you think it's the peak, then buy low again, repeat the whole process again, profit... exactly. Avoid day-trading, try to ride the longest waves possible. that means just a few trades a year, with stable trends, like we had so far. |
