Well I usually make stupid posts over the place and it was restricting me doing that in fear of getting banned.

I think gravitate just does not want to think about the fact constructive messages he maked or not, and limit the number of their posts he also did not want. And this is very good point of view because better not to risk than to risk being banned. To better undestand why he may be fear get banned, read this topic for example -> What is insubstantial sig spam?
